For social work in Madras School of Social Work - [MSSW] is one the most promising colleges . This all years in college are most amazing memories of my life. College changes personality forever and gives perspective.

Course Curriculum Overview :

BSW is basic acknowledging course. Its arrange in very fair and fast lane way. Also its very unique and interesting . Every year course is develop student step by step . From basic to entire level of social working world. Its fine and easy language makes easier to understand.

Placement Experience :

College have large numbers of jobs opportunities . But most of PG students have chance for jobs. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and many more come to college campus for interviews. Students can easily get jobs after completing their courses with aggregates and skills. Also they can apply for internships in companies or institutes for start up.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

BSW is 3 years course . Total fees for this course is 1.4 lakh . Every year student have to submit part of total fees. Fees are very reasonable and reliable compared to other colleges.. Most of students can easily pay fees as this divided pay system. College provided facilities and coaching quality is way ahead than any other colleges.

Campus Life :

College arranges various programs for students. Social welfare programs , women welfare programs, blood donation camps and other . By this programs students get attached with society and its give a thrust to their skills in managing this type of programs. Also there are sports competitions, debate competition for giving students more energy and motivation.

Hostel Facilities :

College have hostel facility for students. Hostel building is big and well manage . All rooms are neat and clean. Hostel provides hostel facilities with all hygiene . Drinking water is purified . Mess facility is also available. Food quality is good and hygienic. College charges 50000 per annum for hostel rooms.

Admission :

For any course in MSSW one can apply online. Just have to visit official website and complete all require process. For BSW one must have to pass 12th with any stream . All document must have to submit. There is no entrance exam for graduation degree students

Faculty :

All faculty in MSSW is very experienced and knowledgeable. First year they handle students to get more comfortable. Also their teaching methods are very amazing. Also they provide all type support. Because of their welcoming nature students feel more confident. This type environment help students in studying with more focus.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for interview after the 5th Semester 3rd year, There is 100+ company visited and made nearly 700+ offers. Titan and Musashi and Sigma and Sanmark and Hyundai and Caterpillar and Tata and Delta Electronics, etc. There is 90% of students are placed till now other are going to place soon and others are higher studies. My plan after getting a Degree is Job and Partime of Study.

Remarks:

The facilities and infrastructure of VIT are excellent. There are 24/7 Wi-Fi with high-speed. All the labs were running neatly, all the computers are checked and them running in a proper manner. Classrooms are large and ventilated, infrastructure is also good. There is a big digital library on the campus with all modern facilities available.

Placement Experience:

Almost 90% of students are participating in placements every year. The highest package is about 35 to 40 Lacs per annum, whereas the lowest one is about 7 to 10 lakhs per annum. TCS, IBM, Microsoft, Google are the top recruiting companies. Around 70% of students get internships every year.

Remarks:

My college was in the heart of the city and had good commuting facilities from across the city. We had the good faculties and a good atmosphere. Our cricket ground was one of the best and we did have Rahul Dravid and S Ramesh come down for practice and matches. Really loved the 3 years spent in that college
