Remarks :
It had the best medical facility in North India. It had all the super specialties needed in the hospital. The college gave grave importance to the training period and also the extra curricular to balance out the work load.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are annually 100 seats in the MBBS course at Dayanand Medical College (DMCH). The course curriculum is very systematically made and involves both book learning and practical training. The diagnostic labs and hospital look after practical session.
Placement Experience :
The college has a hospital affiliated to it called the Dayanand Hospital. The students do their internship period in that hospital which provides all the facilities and services to support all specialty and super specialty courses.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It's a private medical college and quite expensive. The fee for the MBBS course starts at around 4 lac and there is a fee increase of 10% every year. The mess, hostel rent and exam fee has to be paid separately by us and is not included in the fee.
Campus Life :
Ectopia was our college's cultural fest and Nozit was the sports fest which were conducted every year. The college conducted seminars on the latest advancement in medical fields. The college infrastructure well built well.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel and mess were quite good. Food served was awesome. We had cleaning staff who cleaned the hostel premises and the mess on a daily basis. The rooms were tidied and the hostel had a recreation room for the residents.
Admission :
For the MBBS course, you have to be eligible to give the entrance exam by graduating from higher secondary education in the science stream with a minimum of 50% in PCMB. The admissions are done by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot through centralized counseling based on PMET/NEET score.
Faculty :
The faculty of the college has a zeal for medical education and training, patient care and diagnostic services. The faculty are all graduates in specialty and super specialty courses in different fields.
