Remarks :

Because I have heard that its chemistry department is good. Admission process merit based. Because its maths and chemistry department is good. I have heard about this college from my elders.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Because I always wanted to learn more about chemistry and was interested in it.faculty is good they are developing the chemistry department and a new building for chemistry department is under construction. HOD is very good and kind, beside Hod some teachers are very good, friendly and helpful whereas some are useless. The term exam are taken in accurate time and it is not that tough to pass.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 8000 per year

Placement Experience :

Bsc degree gets no placement. Bsc degree gets no placement. We have to do MSC then PhD to get a job as a lecturer in college or we can finish our degree and apply for government job.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Since I am now pursuing the course I have no idea about the total fee but during as admission it was 8000 to 8500 rupees and exam form fill up takes 600 to 700 rupees no form fill up for even semester. I am in second semester and till now I have got no scholarship and job.

Campus Life :

The college week (sports and cultural activities)takes place in the month of march with an opening rally department wise across the Guwahati city. The library is very good it contains good amounts of book old and new along with newspapers. The college ground is very bad only the hostel ground is somewhat good.i am not aware of any social groups or sites run by students but there are many run by teachers.

Good College With Less Academic Fee!

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum provides diverse opportunities in various ways. The knowledge can be used in real world as the world moves towards a green and clean environment. Some more real world practical curriculum should be included in the course. In botany department the frequency of internal exams is really impressive as compared to the other department.The pattern of question in the examination is also good. Just the declaration of results need to be quick after the exam
