Remarks :

Admission is conducted through an entrance exam. I am from Ranchi and didn't want to move to another city for education and Ranchi University is the best in Jharkhand. All classes and exams are conducted on time with the fair evaluation. Professors are really good at teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted to pursue Economics because it became my topic of interest during graduation. There are seats available for 60 students. The faculty members are really good at teaching and conducting classes. The exams and classes are conducted on time no matter what. There is a fair evaluation system.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 57300 per year

Placement Experience :

No campus placement is offered for MA Courses. But after pursuing B. Ed one can opt for teaching field in University or school. That's what I am planning for

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure for 2 years pg course is 57300. Scholarships are offered to students who score above 90 % in an academic year.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is conducted every year in February. There are 2 main libraries which include books for different streams. Annual sports day is also conducted in the month of November. Besides this, there are many clubs like a cultural club, environment club, activity club, drama club, etc.

Interview Experience :

The topic of gd was related to economics. Interview questions included an assessment of students' knowledge in the field. I didn't have to prepare something extra for these.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a student of the english language. I write short stories and poems. The course i have opted for deals with the literary history of the english and the present dimensions to which it has extended. I am fascinated by the previous works of the greats and hope to learn to be as creative and innovative in my works as they were. The curriculum does not prepare you to go out to the world and start earning a living, it simply prepares for further learning and mastery of the language. The course delves too much into the past sometimes leaving off the present relevance of the subject. The curriculum could be improved by the introduction of the recent developments into the course rather than the reminiscent of the past. The exams are frequent throughout the year. The mid sems take place every other month followed by the end sems a month later. The exams are not difficult as such so long as students attend the class regularly and pay some heed to the lectures.

Nice Infrastructure with very Less Fees

Placement Experience:

Students from sem 3 become eligible for campus placements but only few ( 2-3 in a year ) companies comes for conducting placement drives, Companies like Bajaj Allianz , Tata Consultancy Services.. etc. comes here for giving placement but there package is not more than 3.5 lakhs / year. Average package offered is 2.5 - 3 lakhs per annum. Almost 5 percent students got placed After getting this masters degree I will do phd in the same subject
