Remarks :

The college does not provide placements in our batch. Some few years back, the college was best in our city. Many companies visited our campus for recruitments. But, nowadays placements are totally Nil, and not only in the mechanical branch in other branches also. There was a dedicated placement section with an experienced person who worked as an HR once. But he resigned, and the placement section closed due to which we did not got placements.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculties were good. But could do better in infrastructure. Campus could get better. Overall the curriculum and exam structure is good. Over disciplined. Mainly they send you off campuses. Very rare off campus and that to not a single good company you would get.

College Events :

Techfest is the annual science and technology festival of Vignan institute of technology and management. It also refers to the independent body of students who organize this event along with many other social initiatives and outreach programs around the year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible. It is affordable for every student. And as per government policy, every year some amount is given out to SC/ST students. Mode of payment is online. And semester registration fees were in cash payment mode. Yes, the college provide transparency in fee breakdown.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

JEE Main is the widely acceptable entrance test, and most of the engineering colleges in India accept JEE Mains score for B. Tech admissions. Apart from JEE Main, state-level engineering entrance exams are also popular among students. However, state-level engineering entrance exams are confined to a specific state.

Campus Life :

Campus Life is a positive place where students can go to have fun with friends, talk about relevant issues and be heard without judgment. It's a place where students are challenged to make good decisions and lead in positive ways in their school. In college, you are expected to do most of your learning on your own. For every hour you spend in class, you should plan to spend two hours out of class reading, studying, and completing assignments. The importance of regular class attendance cannot be overemphasized.

Hostel Facilities :

I was not staying in hostel. But my friends were there. The boys stayed in the college premises however the girls stayed in hostel inside the town. The hostel seemed not to be good.

Hostel Fee : INR 20000 per yearExternal Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

There is an alumni page in facebook which is being rarely used by few of the member's. Few faculties are still in touch but less interaction.

Admission :

Faculty :

Faculties were really good. The study pattern is very good for evry level of students. Extra care and concentration for average and below average student. Practicals carried out were not upto the mark but no too bad also. Faculties were not partial or biased.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for the campus in the 6th semester. Top Indian companies like Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Jindal, Tata Steel, and many more came for the campus. The highest package was 9 lakhs made by Tata Steel. 99% of students got placed. I had 3 jobs.

Average college within the state at affordable cost and prosperous future

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because at that time I was keenly interested in Engineering drawings, architecture, construction as well as estimations and costing. Here the faculty-student ratio is approx 1:18. Almost 1/3rd of the faculty are permanent and have a doctorate and they are well experienced. Guest faculties are also from prestigious colleges holding masters and bachelors. Examinations were conducted regularly in class as well as there used to be 2 internals in a sem and one end sem exam. Questions were set by the BPUT and it was moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

College claims to provide 100% placements to its students, Students from the 7th semester can sit in placements. Many big companies come to recruit on campus every year like Amazon, Dell, Accenture, Wipro, cognizant. The HIghest package was Rs 39lpa by amazon. Profiles like data analyst, software developer, coding, data scientists etc are offered by companies. I am planning to take up an IT sector job

Honest College Review

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester onwards. Companies like Ajatus, Byjus, Wipro , Infosys offer placement opportunities in our college. The placement rate has deteriorated over the past 5 years. Earlier 50 %-80%students were placed but now only 20%-30%are placed. Earlier the highest package was 10 LPA and the average package was 4LPA. Now the rate has decreased greatly. The college still tries its best to bring companies. Earlier the placements were more of on-campus placements but now it's mostly off campus. The training and placement cell hence prepares students for the recruitment process and selects the best students and gets them placed. After getting the degree I would be applying for interviews on the technical line off-campus and side by side I would do my higher studies like M.TECH.
