My Review

SG

Remarks :

The overall experience is great. Just that the college needs to work on placements as most of my colleagues got a job off campus.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is revised and meets all the industry standards. The evaluation process is same throughout all semesters for all subjects. Out of total score of 100, 40marks is internal which is at the discretion of the faculty to take presentation or research. The remaining 60 marks is external written test.

Placement Experience :

The placement is not as good as the college markets. Most of the companies hire only 1-2 students. The total placement is around 20-30% students only.

College Events :

Most of the events are organised outside office. There is no place in the campus to organise large events. All the sports events are partnered with external ground owners to organise competition. The only decent event is the college annual fest with number of competition and events and shows.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees is around 2. 2 lakhs per annum. The college fees can be paid through online transfer. Wire transfer or NEFT payment. No admission or other kind of fees needs to be paid to secure admission. Also the college provide with the breakup of fees. So the process is highly transparent.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is no such scholarship for bachelor courses. The loan can be availed and the college does provide support and guide in loan process.

Campus Life :

Talking about the college environment, it is great. You get to meet people from around the country. The gender ratio is also 50:50. The environment is modern where you can interact with your colleague and faculty without hesitation. The college doesnot organise any parties but there are many unofficial parties round the year.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes. I did opt for hostel. But from what I've experienced, the hostel facility is not good at all. They don't serve you meals and the room rent is far too costly. It is highly advisable to rent a place outside or opt for a pg in first year and take a place with friends from second year onwards.

Alumni/Alumna :

The college framework is such that you can interact with seniors. There is no access to alumni network.

Admission :

The college admission is through entrance exam. The college conducts it's entrance exam NPAT in June for students clearing 12th board exams. There is no interview process after exam. The admission is based solely on entrance exams. They donot consider 12th marks.

Faculty :

The faculty is best in the industry. All the professors are knowledgeable with most of them having significant industry experience. All the full time and part time professors and faculty are recruited after intense round of interviews. So the best quality is assured and the delivery is top-notch.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly, I never chose bsc as a earning source or for jobs. I'm very interested in learning biology, especially microbiology. Our professors gives us practical knowledge along with theory. Our botony teacher Mr. Kanade sir is very supportive in businesses related to botony. Such as spirulina cultivation. He showed us an interview of a 23 yr old man who is earning in lacs through spirulina cultivation.

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which works hard to ensure deserving students get a chance for working at a good firm. The cell has a WhatsApp group of interested students and regular updates of internships and job offers are posted on the group which is accessible to everyone. The percentage of placements is undisclosed. The average package is said to be 5LPA.

Placement Experience:

For eligibility, you must have graduated in any field. The average package is 2lac. Most of the students apply for placement but the result is hardly about 5-10%. After my degree, I will pursue a postgraduate and then will apply for Ph.D.

Placement Experience:

After the 5th semester, all the students are eligible for the placement and Internships provided by the College. Various well known companies comes for the placement cell and picks the students who has not only scored well in his/her exams but also how much interactive they were during interview and how much basic and verious knowledges they have apart from there course. Highest package was 4-5 lakh per annum and average 2.5-3 lakh per annum. The selection of candidates in the placement cell are for all the various job profiles for ex. Software Engineer , ui/ux , Cyber security , web developer / designer and etc etc. In a batch of class around 60-70% students were placed in placement and Internships. I had planned to get the degree in cs and to learn ui ux design and to apply for the intership for 2-3 companies so after that I can apply for the big and famous companies like FAANG.

Remarks:

Overall, the college manages to imbibe work-level competitiveness among students. Due to the lack of support from the college in several aspects, as explained above, students are taught to be self-sufficient and not rely on the college for persistent help and guidance.
