Remarks :

College and college management purely running this in non profit institution for the benefit of students who are aspiring engineers, entrepreneurs and managers. Management support in terms of maintaining fees structure as per government norms, offering scolership and provide excellent facilities and ambience to concentrate on not only studies but also on sports and other extra curricular activities.

Entrance Preview :

I took TANSET and my rank was 100. I chose this institution in order to support my ambition to become an entrepreneur.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculam was in conventional way of feeding information rather giving ideas to persue my ambition. It was preparing us for a white collar job.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship neither brought by placement facilities nor offered by companies visited our campus. Students found themselves out side the campus. Stipend was differing company to company but most of us did not get any stipend.

Placement Experience :

HCL technologies, Sterling holidays and other few companies visited campus for placement and took 30 to 40% of students even during recession in the year 2009.

College Events :

1. One Management event celebrated/organised every year by MBA students2. One cultural event organised by MCA students3. Technical events organised by each department in UG4.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is very much feasible when we see the experience or education we get from SSN.They offer scholarship for 1st rank holder in each class and there is no hidden charges other than fee fixed by government.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

SSN college of engineering and it's alumni association offer scholarship for 2 student in each class. 100% scholarship for 1 and 50% scolership for another for that particular year.

Campus Life :

Campus life is unforgettable. We enjoyed, learnt and mingled lot in the campus. We used labs, playground including world class indoor stadium a lot during college days.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is wonderful with new multi story building furnished with nice table, chairs and kot. Hostel food is regular and nothing special about it. Students can manage and had to bear taste at times.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network is very strong and efficient in terms of funding towards scholarship, support students for finding opportunities and guidance during selection of job.

Exam Structure :

Exam structure was same as in other colleges under Anna University. But we were facing in cool mindset as the teaching method was concept oriented and faculties' approach was teaching concepts by give us live examples.

Faculty :

Faculties are well educated and most from IIMs.More than our regular faculties, our visiting fculties inspired us to become successful managers and entrepreneurs. They were also IIM graduates. Thanks to management.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is great in this college. Last year placement rate was 96.5% and the second last year it was around 94.7%. In my batch, the most noteworthy bundle of a student was 14 LPA and the least bundle was 6.5 LPA and the most noteworthy bundle is 9.5 LPA and the least was 5.6 LPA. The top companies that recruited us for placements are Microsoft, HCL, Citi Bank, Mahindra, Tata, Wipro, Google, etc. Currently, I am working with Flipkart as a full-time employee and got placed because of my 3-month internship with them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum for the MBA course is researched well. Also, the exam structure followed by the university is quite decent as well. My exam experience with them till now was easy to comprehend. The entire faculty of the MBA department is qualified and extremely professional in their domain. They have always made me understand every single point with utmost clarity. I respect all my professors of the department.

Remarks:

Overall the College is a good college. But there are too many levels of hierarchy. We never really know who is the main head of the institution because there are so many people like Principal, Chairman, Director, Coordinator etc. The university the college is affiliated under is not good. Anna University is keen on looting student's money.
