Remarks

This was the college that I got based on my marks.Since I'd chosen Computer in 11th and 12th,decided to continue with the same in college.The college is also one of the reputed institutes in Tamil Nadu.CSE also provides better opportunities for learning and placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

We study the old regulations which is a handicap in terms of getting updated with new topics and ideas.Data Structures has a very good professor in our clg.The majority of the staff are good but there are obviously areas for improvement.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

There are famous companies like De Shaw in which students get placed.TCS,Verizon media and the like also recruit students and offer them decent salary.The top companies only recruit limited people obviously and this number needs to increase if the college is set to improve further.

College Events

Really good.Various clubs are organized for conducting different activities. Really engaging and fun if we are involved in those clubs.But still in terms of technical exposure many top companies can be invited to provide students with better opportunities for learning.

Campus Life

Decent. Can be updated to the current trend. Will have to spend on infra to cope up with competition from other colleges.Sports isn't given much importance compared to athletics but still there are many accomplishments that the college boasts off.

Hostel Facilities

Very basic.Needs a lot of improvement.But since they only charge around 30K per year for a student,this is all that they can afford.Hostel is very basic compared to other colleges in Coimbatore,but it does help academically.So one needn't expect too much in terms of hostel facilities.

DRNGPIT is a tough gig to survive!!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements happens and happens usually from September to December. Every student's are asked to appear for the interview rounds and these opportunities are provided to us in our second last semester. Mostly all are placed before the final semester of theirs.
