Remarks :

One of the best colleges in kolkata,no political inclination and among the top 100 colleges in India. Provides an wholesome environment and professors are very friendly. The natural touch makes it all the more beautiful.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Our course syllabus is guided by the norms of Calcutta University. All our faculties are great and very friendly. They make sure that we are comfortable and help us whenever we need them. Bethune prepares us to face the outside world.

Placement Experience :

We mostly have bachelors courses. So the placement opportunities are not that good. But some companies do come to place students. Moreover, Bethune gets us ready for the entrance exams for post graduate courses,automatically providing a lot of career options.

College Events :

We have all sorts of extracurricular activities. The college holds annual celebrations for bethune day and many other red letter days. Our fest AALAP witnesses a good amount of footfall. We also recently hosted the Bengal Economic Conference.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My teachers suggest me to take Chemistry honours. And I also wanted to become a scientist from my childhood. I also love to do experiment. So I choose this cource. I heard that here teachers are very good. So I joined this institute. The curriculum prepares me very good to step in real world. There are no such advice to improve, all is previously improved. There are total 6 semesters in our cource. Per year 4 exams are held, 2 mid-sem exams and 2 end-sem exams i.e. all year 4exams are held. The exams are too tough and few common questions we can find.

I have choosen this course because I was interested in it. Nd the faculties of this department is also good. All the professors of our department are PhD qualified and also researching on some field now also. They are quite frankly and helpful also. Total strength of the class is 43 from which most of them are from different states.

This is the Alipore Campus of Calcutta University of Home Science Department. This place is so beautiful in the middle of the city. The campus is full of greenery and the natural beauty of the campus is awesome. The friends,the professors, the scholars are too good to us. Every seniors are so helpful. I am in love with this college.

Remarks:

The college provides a student-friendly atmosphere. The college library is worth mentioning. The entire college premise consists of three buildings and they are separated by roads. This is quite disturbing since it takes time to attend general classes after attending honors class in a separate building.
