Remarks :

I really wanted to know the subject in depth and this institution has really good reputation and perfect for me for acquiring knowledge about this field. Also the passouts have been really successful in their fields

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course is really updated to the current guidelines,also my syllabus is really thorough. It helps us to go in depth of the subject and really interests us alot. The faculties are excellent who never fail to provide us with guidance time to time, whenever needed.

Placement Experience :

I have heard that the placement cell is good enough and have known that alot of the students have been placed successfully. But i dont know exactly about the placement cell because I m currently in first year and I haven't explored so much about the institution. Also since this is an honours coarse, placements are not given that importance because people normally graduate amd pursue higher degrees.

College Events :

The campus life is phenomenal. The campus holds alot of curriculums and programs all year round which really helps us to give an exposure to the outside world. Our institution makes us understand that extracurricular activities are as important as studies and should not be neglected

Course Curriculum Overview:

My teachers suggest me to take Chemistry honours. And I also wanted to become a scientist from my childhood. I also love to do experiment. So I choose this cource. I heard that here teachers are very good. So I joined this institute. The curriculum prepares me very good to step in real world. There are no such advice to improve, all is previously improved. There are total 6 semesters in our cource. Per year 4 exams are held, 2 mid-sem exams and 2 end-sem exams i.e. all year 4exams are held. The exams are too tough and few common questions we can find.

This is the Alipore Campus of Calcutta University of Home Science Department. This place is so beautiful in the middle of the city. The campus is full of greenery and the natural beauty of the campus is awesome. The friends,the professors, the scholars are too good to us. Every seniors are so helpful. The college provides a student-friendly atmosphere. The college library is worth mentioning. The entire college premise consists of three buildings and they are separated by roads.
