Remarks :

Firstly, Bethune College is one of the most prestigious colleges in India with a terrific historic background. Secondly, the faculty is very well and cooperative.Thirdly, the College campus as well as campus atmosphere is very beautiful which provides a healthy environment for studies.Lastly, I got chance in it. And I opted for this course because I have a keen interest in Mathematics. As a result of which I always wanted to pursue my career in a field related to it. Since statistics is high in demand these days and has a high job prospect, I took admission in this stream. And also I love to play with numbers and dates.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Its quite good, clear and updated than rest of the universities. My university stands among one of the top universities in my course. I really don't know how much industrial exposure was provided. I am too inexperienced to answer that. The faculties were very good. Dr Sujan Chandra of statistics department is really good and Dr Maitri Ghosh from economics department, is too good as a teacher. Their teaching style and behaviour towards students is very friendly and frank. As a result it makes their teaching very effective.

College Events :

Each and every event is very good and magnificent. Throughout the year one or the other event is being held. Culturally too our College is very active. Annual cultural fest is being held in our college in December,named,"Aalap". Last year a 'Mela' was also held. And even during this lockdown, a Webinar of three days was organized by our College regarding this prevailing pandemic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My teachers suggest me to take Chemistry honours. And I also wanted to become a scientist from my childhood. I also love to do experiment. So I choose this cource. I heard that here teachers are very good. So I joined this institute. The curriculum prepares me very good to step in real world. There are no such advice to improve, all is previously improved. There are total 6 semesters in our cource. Per year 4 exams are held, 2 mid-sem exams and 2 end-sem exams i.e. all year 4exams are held. The exams are too tough and few common questions we can find.

This is the Alipore Campus of Calcutta University of Home Science Department. This place is so beautiful in the middle of the city. The campus is full of greenery and the natural beauty of the campus is awesome. The friends,the professors, the scholars are too good to us. Every seniors are so helpful. The college provides a student-friendly atmosphere. The college library is worth mentioning. The entire college premise consists of three buildings and they are separated by roads.
