Remarks :

Our college is one of the best colleges in Karnataka. We have very good placements in our branch which is better than many NITs. Our college is well known for cultural activities and encouragement to the students. Also technically our college trains students very well.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I feel that the course curriculum of our college is hectic, but still we can manage. We have 5 events in each subject for a semester. 3 events are internal tests and 2 events are decided by the professor. Event marks are reduced to 50 marks CIE. Exam is conducted for 100 marks. Exam marks is also reduced to 50 marks. These summed up marks are used to calculate SGPA. Average of 2 sems SGPA is CGPA of that year.

Placement Experience :

Our college is best for placements and jobs. We have 100% placement in our department. Companies like Google, Cisco, western digital etc. Come to our college for interviews. We also have placement cell to train us for placements. I also have heard that internship programs in our college is good. Since I am still in 2nd year I cannot explain much about this.

College Events :

We have many club events, annual fest called Jaysiana, and also many sports events in our college. Jaysiana is a famous event in Mysuru. Club events like Shabd, Foss camp etc takes place every year. Also, there are many departmentmental events. There are many workshops conducted in our college. In all these events, we have both technical and non- technical events. Attending these events enhance our knowledge and they are also fun.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Since I belong to GM category, I couldn't avail any scholarship. I have heard about MHRD scholarship. Also our college Alumni group offers scholarship for some specified group of people. I haven't applied for any loan, so I am not knowledgeable to that.

Alumni/Alumna :

Many students in our college have good connection with the seniors and take many tips and help from seniors. Seniors are very friendly and helping. I know some seniors,but haven't asked much help from them. Also seniors help for internship by referring juniors.

Admission :

I got admission to this college through kcet(Karnataka common entrance test). After kcet results were out, I chose this college and I got seat in this college in 1st round in CS branch. Within 2 days, we had to pay kcet fees and had to report to the college. During admission, we had to pay college fees and had to bring necessary documents for document verification. Then we had to enter our details for college records and the admission is done.

Faculty :

We have some good faculties and some average faculties. Some faculties teaches the subject very well and give good guidance and help us for projects. But some faculties are ignorant. But overall training is good.

placements during the current scenario are hard and they offer less perks highest goes to around for 20 lakhs for 2-3 students all others placed are around 3-7 lakhs mark students placed are around 50 percent there are companies like adobe and Capgemini comming to campus

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. From 3 rd year, students are eligible to sit in the placements. Most IT companies visit the college like Accenture, TCS, Amazon, cognizant, etc. Few core companies also came like Texas instruments, kpit, global foundries, Bosch, etc. The average package is 4.5 LPA and the highest is 22 LPA for my branch. 60% of people in my department got placement.

Honest truth of Rajarajeswari college of engineering

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the final year. A few companies visited when I was studying about 12-15 MNCs companies visited all were product-based and I think the highest package was 7.5 LPA. As the Corona pandemic started college was closed and companies didn't visit afterward. There is less number of companies visiting our college all are looking more for Cs graduates less or no EC core companies visit. I am planning to pursue M tech

It is positive. Candidates appearing in the 12th exams in 2019 can apply. Diploma candidates can also apply but only for admission in IITs. There is no minimum mark required to apply for JEE Main.
