Best pharma college in North east

Remarks :

Positives 1.away from city hustle 2. Good quality faculty 3. Very big campus 4.very nice atmosphere for students 5. Nice canteen inside the campus 6. Placement Guaranteed 7. Help from seniors and teachers Negatives 1. Away from city facilities

Course Curriculum Overview :

It is Very much easy and very much short in every semester. But you should at least collect all the notes provided by the respective teacher for better results in semester exams. The syllabus covers almost everything about medicines.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes they provide internship. Mostly our college provide internship for industry(production or QA/QC) and hospital pharmacy. Industrial training is in winter(December to January) and hospital training program is in summer (june to july)

Placement Experience :

Placements are very good in this college. Every students gets a job. No one stays unemployed. This record is for past 4 years. I am also expecting to join pharma market as a Medical Representative this year.

College Events :

Pharmacists day is on 25 September each year and it is celebrated very grandly. Then there are teachers day, foundation day, saraswati puja, college week, annual sports week. Also there are various other festivals.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship are offered for technical courses by the UGC as 1 lakh per year, that comes as 15000 per month. Students in 1st year can apply for this. However they will need to have more than 80 percent marks in HS 2nd year exam.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities are very much provided in the college. Cricket tournament are organised every 3 months. There is marathon organized by different companies at our college. College labs are nice and have many equipment.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni have an association of their own. You can join them once you pass out from the college. They are very friendly and helpful. They help us getting a job or any other information about any event.

Admission :

I applied directly in the college by the college prospectus and submitted my admission form with 10th and 12 th marksheets and my id and residential address proof. They called us for entrance exam and selected some of us for admission based on entrance exam marks

Faculty :

They are ver dedicated for their students. They are very much friendly with us. They provide us notes for each and every topic of the syllabus. They are young and very friendly. However you should give them respect.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My love for chemistry and the eager to more know about the drugs and its action convinced me to choose pharmacy as a career. The study of pharmacy enhances healthcare delivery, supports public health initiatives ,and contributes to the advancement of medical science , ultimately improving quality of life and health outcomes for individuals and communities. Inclusion of skills like pharmacovigilence and medical coding in the laboratory practicals would help students in the long run. There are 3 sessional exams taken with a gap of approx. 45 days between them, end semester exams are conducted in 90-120 days from the day of commencement of the semester classes

Placement Experience:

The placements are good with decent packages in well known industries like Cipla, Dabur, Emami, Hetero etc. and if the students don't get the job then also they can studies further like Masters and pharmacy to get higher packages. The students can also get a registration number which can be used to open a pharmacy like retail or wholesale.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pursue something on medical field made me make my mind to do Bachelor of Pharmacy. Though the world is developing but together the rate of health problems are also increasing tremendously and here pharmacists play a significant role . The area where this course can be improve is by increasing the practical knowledge rather than theory. We have two sessional and one semester exam in the time period of 6 months.

First of all they called Many companies and they forced us to give interview in many field. Likely the job of marketing will come more but the package is great I would say. Even many students choose not to do marketing jobs so for v pharm direct any industry will not come that is sad. Otherwise it's good they call more than 50 companies

Placement Experience:

The placements are okay okay. Not very good companies come to recruit students of final year. Only MBA students get a high package salary in a good company. Other departments don't get these much of placements as compared to MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good and the faculty is nice too. The faculty could be better if they tried to give notes and make us understand much better. Sometimes they give too many assignments but it's okay that's what we are meant to do.
