Thay just pressurise students on their attendance bases

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum of mine course is not so tough. Its good to learn about agriculture. No there isn't any industrial visit for students. It has 8 semesters in which 6 sems are theoretical and last 2 sems are practical. We also get licence to open own shop.

Placement Experience :

I am 1st year student so i dont know much about the the company visiting. But i was informed that there are many companies yhat come for placement.

College Events :

Youth festival, sports events, dance competition, etc.are organized in university in which many students take part. There are also inter college competitions in which many college compete. There are many other events which are held in university. So this is good side.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is a bit expensive which can be as this is a private university. They take 50000 od a sem which are taken in two half of the sem. Also there are hostel charges if anybody is interested, which cost 50000 of a year stay which also includes food.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship facility is there but only for 1 sem that also depend on your number if you have 75% then you get 5% scholarship and so on.

Campus Life :

Campus life is good we make friends that make your life best moments bestest. Gender ratio is 70:30 men :women. There are labs of all subjects i study and many extracurricular activities which encourage students. Labs are good enough and activitiez are good.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, hoatel rooms are good but there food isn't good. There are 3 types of room simple with fan, coller room and the last ac rooms which have different prices in them. There hot water supply is also not well.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes senior are helpful in getting knowledge about the course and they are also good friends. Their are strict rules of raging.

Admission :

I opt this course because of my interest. ICAR affiliation is factor made me choose this institute. In this institute you just need more than 50% in 12th standard with science stream. After scoring that fill admission form and you will get admission.

Faculty :

There are 8 lectures in a day. With variable number of subjects. Faculty is good with an average age of 28 years and the qualifications is msc clear. Faculty is experienced and have a great knowledge which helps students a lot. Students alao get extra knowledge.

Is LPU that Lovely?

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placements from their final year and should have passed all the subjects. Companies visited are ITC, Adani Wilmar, dhanuka, some startups Highest package offered for the current session was 8lpa to 4 students where the average pay is 3.6 lpa Due to low pay most of the students turn down the job offer and goes on pursuing higher studies. So far, from what I have experienced is that there is cut throat competition in the placements.

Good in campus environment

Remarks:

After i entered , it was heaven seriously speaking from a small town LPU life for me is no less than a dream life. So here are some DO's and DONTs LPU :- Alwaysintain 75% attendance otherwise you won't be allowed to give your end term examination. 2. Don't get carried away with the crowd , you won't be able to come back to real life. 3. Be as simple as possible so that distractions doesn't over come your focus . 4. Join various Organisations. Here at LPU we have more that 50 Student running organisations , take initiative and be a part in any of these. 5. Weekly , there will be functions , or something or the other so that Students inside the campus are not board , so enjoy them . 6. As i have mentioned before , be choosey to select your friends world is not good my dear . 7. Yes , LPU have more than 3000 CCTVs and security guards are present within 100mt of range , so if you feel anything uncomfortable or someone is trying to disturb or something like that take there help. Security people are really very good.
