Remarks :
I would say i am very proud to be the part of this prestigious university. I have learned so many things here and still have to go a long way in my journey. I would recommend as it is one of the best universities to be able to sUcceed in life.
Course Curriculum Overview :
We have a defined topics course content for each course. In which the recommended books are also mentioned.I think the course content should be more elaborative and detailed so that it becomes easy for the students to know in how much detail to study. Exam structure- we have about for exams in 1 sem of 4-5 months. Each exam carry some weightage in the final result. So i think it's a good idea for encouraging the students to study but sometimes it becomes hectic as there are no holidays during examination.
Placement Experience :
I don't have much knowledge about this as i m still in my second year. But yes my college do provide internship to the toppers and there are many job oppurtunities especially in abroad. Many students are well settled either in abroad or have gotten placement in the university itself.
College Events :
The major event in my college is youth festival. It is very big event ,several co -curricular activities like singing,dancing,debating,painting ,etc takes place during this event. There is proper opening and closing ceremony,chief guests are invited, a lot of enthusiasm is in the university during this event. It lasts upto one week.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Being a government university,the fee structure is very expensive, especially for biotechnology and foodtechnology . It becomes quite difficult for middle class parents to pay the fees for a four year or 5 year programme.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes there are scholarships for the toppera of each class but most of the scholarships are for the reserved caste. I do want that there should be more scholarships for the general caste As sometimes they belongs to mIddle class and becomes quite diificult to pay so much fees.
Campus Life :
We have various labs in various departments of our college. They are equipped with various machineries and equipment. We work on them in our practical lecture. About sports, the facilities provided are excellent. There are many competations taking place throughout the year and also the winners are rewarded with certificate and marks and sometimes cash prize which is quite good.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni students are very helpful.most of our teachers are alumni of our university. They guide us whenever necessary. Our college also organises alumni meet every year in which we have chance to interact with them . And seniors here are always ready to help there juniors.
Admission :
I have got admission by entrance examination which was based on +2 syllabus. Firstly i applied for the university. Then examination occurred. After that the results were announced and we got admission acCording to our ranks. There could be 2-3 councelling more, it dependa on vacants seats.
Faculty :
Our college faculty is excellent. The techers here encourage students to do well and succeed in life. They are always ready to help. Also the higher authorities, are always ready to listen to students opinions and sometimes make the required changes.
