Study atmosphere of the college

Remarks :

The management is good. Though getting things done take a lot of time, being it a government institute but otherwise there are no bad remarks to be given for the management

Course Curriculum Overview :

All the courses of the university are research based, and even the university is known for its research based projects in the whole world. The study pattern is as per the requirement of international institutes and all the professors are super supportive and encouraging

Placement Experience :

On ground placements are not much in the college, but there are many opportunities around the city, it depends on the students how they grab it.

College Events :

Youth festInternational seminarsCultural events Sports and what not. All the events that a college should hold are done by the University to provide ample extra curricular activities for the students. The youth fest consists of various phases. First their is induction round where students are selected on the basis of their interests and then once they are selected, the go for the inyercollege youth fest in the university. The position holders of intercollege go for inter University fests which is a huge accomplishment for the students. Many international seminars are held to give students scientific and practical aspects of every side

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The government aided programmes have very less fee whereas there ate fee courses that are self funded which are little costly but on contrast these courses provide good career aspects for the students. The fee is segregated very transparently and the university makes sure that they donot take any penny extra than what it takes for them to give best experienced to the students

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is no scholarship available for the students in the general category whereas there are some scholarships available for students coking from rural background or are having sc bc background. One can apply for any scholarship that suits, after the admissions, before the admission there is no criteria of applying for the scholarships

Campus Life :

Almost 80% of the students are from punjab, though there are seats reserved for the students from other parts of the world. There is no racism faced amongst the students during the college life, though the competition is very high academically, there one can find little competitive students to get higher marks than other or grab more opportunities sarpassing others.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rooms are okay, as one can expect from a government institute. For boys hostel 4 girls share a common room whereas for boys there is dual sharing. There is a coomon washroom for 3 no of rooms on each floor. The rooms are alloted to the students according the year in which they are studying in and their percentage for the first year and cp for the coming years. There are ample of hostel seats available for ug students so there is no need to go for Pg, even if it is required there are some pg's nearby costing 6-7 k per month.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very helpful, though the day scholars donot get much time to interact with the students because of the tight schedules but hostlers can get a lot of time for interaction with the seniors in the evening. Personally my college life is much more better because of the seniors I have.

Admission :

The admission process starts somewhere in May, followed by a entrance exam in July and then couseliing by end of the month. The new sessions starts by 25th July. The students have to appear for the seperate entrance test which is held in the campus only, then the results are announced within one day, which gives perspective about the admissions to the student in the specific fields they are looking for.

Faculty :

Tentatively there are 18-20 lecturers for my course and all of them are PHD with huge expertise and experience in their field. The age of the teachers vary from 30-60 years but even the youngest teachers are either doing their PHD or are done with it. Along with the studies the teachers are the researchers which give them a lot of industrial and practical experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum could be a little more practical rather than just theoretical, court visits are very few and there's no provision for placement through college so it is kinda like a big disappointment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In this course, exams are conducted 4 times in each and every semester. There are 2 MSTs which are monthly test held for 20 marks which will have a direct effect on the internal marks of the students. And after that there is a practicals exam for 20 marks, after which the main semester exam is done for 60 marks. All these curriculum activities helps the students in preparing for competitive exams or building up our own business. The practicals done in these days help the students to get a more comprehensive and scientific view on the study of their own respective courses.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is the worst part of my college Computer Engineering students need to learn chapters like Manufacturing Processes, Engineering Design i.e Mangonel and I don't know how will it help in industries. In my entire 4 years, there was no subject for javascript, instead they provide the options between ML/AI, AWS and full stack. But Javascript should be introduced as a general elective. Exams are conducted intensively MId sems, end sems, 2 sessionals, 2 lab evaluations and 2 vivas, making the life of the student harder.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements here are pretty decent , not that much good but if study hard specifically for placements then easily can get around 6lpa paclage , also there is plenty of time for other comptetevie exams such as gate , cat or upsc people spend ample amount of time in studyng these subjects and get selectd too , also higher study in foreing university and colleges can be focused if cgpa can be foced based on acadmics , the opportunity here is never ending.

Placement Experience:

I would rate On campus placements of my university as moderate as there are few companies that visit are college and most of them are service based so we cant expect much from them. After 6th sem students get eligible for campus placements. Some of top companies that visited our college from many years are KPMG, TCS, Accenture, Zscaler etc. Highest package till now is around 44lpa and lowest is about 3.5lpa. Around 70-80% Students get placed every year. After Getting degree I will try to crack a good company or will try for higher studies

Placement are not bad or good , but decent. If you will study hard and give your time to study and develop skills then definitely you will get good packages. But if you will not study and don't take it seriously then their is no guarantee of placements .
