Remarks :
It's an average college, not so high standards and neither too low. Students come from various economic conditions. Too much rich families students and poor families too. But negative remark is that some of the classes do not have AC and non technical works are not too much.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is not too much hectic. Students can score good even if they give 1-2 hrs a day to study. The course is good though for an average student. Exams and labs are conducting frequently according to the time table of the college. But still one can enjoy his/her life along with the study.
Placement Experience :
Placements are average of around 3-4. 5 Lc p. a. While the highest package goes to around 18 Lc p. a. It all depends upon the struggle you do for your career. The harder you work, the more you earn. It does not matter what branch it is. Some of the companies are - HCL, Infosys, TCS and many more.
College Events :
Annual techno cultural fest in which stars do perform and various hackathons are scheduled. These hackathon includes a 24h competition in which you are given some problem statement and you are supposed to find some practical solution and implement it. College fest is generally a 3 day event in which stars like diljit dosanjh, gurdaas maan, etc were called in the past few years.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure for this college is very nominal and one of the cheapest engineering colleges nowadays. The fees of the college along with university is around 120000 per annum. In which you are provided with book banks of which 5000 are refundable.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarships are not provided by the college but scholarships are provided by the delhi government by filling the application of income of families under 5Lc. The slots are divided for scholarships according to the incomes of the families.
Campus Life :
There are more number of boys than the girls obviously. Yes there are parties such as fresher's party for new admissions in the college and farewell parties for the seniors passing out from the college. There are various societies for different interests like music society, drama society. Economic status of the college is good. While there is no discrimination among the students.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are not present in this college but yes you can rent a pg nearby in hari nagar or subhash nagar. Average cost of pg in hari nagar is about 5000 without food while a pg in Subhash nagar is around 6000 without food which includes tv, fridge, cleaning. Food costs around 2000-2500 per month.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, the alumni are regularly called to the college for the betterment of the students currently studying in the college. They share their experience of how they were selected in this and this interviews. Senior students are really helpful in the studies amd other stuffs too.
Admission :
I gave an entrance exam of GGSIPU where I scored 9509 rank. And on that basis I was alloted a seat in this college. First I got an admission in northern india engineering college from which I was upgraded in the spot round(which has no reservations). But now, instead of entrance exam of GGSIPU, admissions are made through JEE MAINS and counselling is done rankwise.
Faculty :
Some of the faculties are highly experienced while some are less experienced with good knowledge. Overall the trainers are well qualified for this course and help the students of college for the study of their exams or any doubts related to course.
