Remarks :

The college management is very co-operative and has the ability to deal with the worst possible scenarios. The network of administrators and supervisors is excellent which helps students in any difficulty.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum has been changed to meet the current needs of the students. The number of courses are kept more during the first three years, so that students have more internship time during the last two years. The students are groomed for the business environment and to present themselves well professionally. The students are given exclusive training and seminars before on-campus placements.

Placement Experience :

Law school placements are mostly comprised of PPOs achieved after long internships. Most of the students get PPOs from SLS. Apart from that, we have firms like ICICI, AZB, etc. coming on campus for placements and taking good number of students.

College Events :

SLS Pune holds the biggest annual cultural fest of Pune, Symbhav. It is held every year in the month of February. The fest sees a footfall of 500+ students from across the country. Symbhav is famous for its pronites which have had artists like Farhan Akhtar, Local Train and Ritwiz.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees is worth the academics and facilities provided by the college. The college also has numerous scholarships for deserving students. No additional fees or charges are required to be paid to get an admission to the college. The admission is purely based on a student's merits.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

During my first year, I received a Scholarship for being the Topper in Contracts in my batch. Additionally, I have batch mates who have received scholarships for being the top listers in the entrance exam. The college has a dedicated fund for scholarships.

Campus Life :

The gender ratio at SLS Pune is almost 1:1. The college has a student body, named the Student Advisory Board which consists of numerous cells and committees for students to be a part of. Students from foreign places like Dubai, United States, etc. are also a part of the student population. There is no discrimination amongst students. The seniors are the best part of the college and there is no ragging, in any form.

Alumni/Alumna :

SLS Pune has a wide alumni network across professions like legal, CA, CS, music artists etc. The alumni are very helpful and have reached out to the college on various occasions. Regular alumni meets and ectures by alumni are conducted.

Admission :

Entrance to SLS is via SLAT/SET (the entrance exam) followed by a PI-WAT (Personal Interview and Written Aptitude Test). SLS is amongst the top law schools in the countries. I chose BBA LL.B (Hons.) as against BA LL.B (Hons.) due to my commerce background and I can safely say that it was a good decision on my part.

Faculty :

The facult for each of the subjects is well-read and has really good knowledge about his/her subject. The lectures and modules made by the faculty are extremely relevant to the current scenarios and are updated yearly given the changes in the legal system. The college has a mix of permanent and visiting faculty which helps bring industrial insight.

The course covers all the relevant subjects of law. One can pursue advocacy in either civil or criminal side as the course covers both the topics very well. The teaching method is from books and by using power point presentation. The exams are held on a timely basis and are medium to hard in difficulty level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus for teaches us the knowledge required to be a part of the law fraternity. But the actual applicability of the syllabus can be seen as different from what is taught in the curriculum. Practical knowledge of what is taught needs to be done

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course 8/10 aa course is highly good for me and i chose this field because of the respect it have our curriculum is good only as first 2 years we have BLS subjects then we have law subjects after that. As it is an integrated course it surely serves the purpose and makes you ready for real-life field only but as we have 75-25 pattern it gets hard to write that much in the examination in that much hour also we have to prepare for internals alot then assignment costs alot of time and make the whole study schedule hectic

Placement Experience:

The placements are provided by the university based on merit to the students of the undergraduate honours batch and bba batch. The same facility is not available for the adjudication and justice batch for obvious reasons. However, the university facilitates them by supporting internships of judicial nature and other internships too.
