Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum covers the basic history of Ayurveda. There are many sub-departments like Dravyguna, Kayachikitsa and Shalaya tantra and many more such departments. We have four exams each academic year.
Placement Experience
Placement happens once in a year, most of them are selected by the companies most of them turn down the offer and opt for higher studies. The placement record is overall good, enough training is given to us before attending the placements.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is not at all expensive when compared with other colleges in Karnataka that teaches ayurvedic medicine, the fee per year is just Rs. 28,590, which make a sum of just Rs. 1.43 Lakhs for the whole course of five years.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, scholarships are provided by the college to students with good academic backgrounds or if they are from a struggling family. An education loan can also be availed by the student if he/she is not eligible for the scholarships.
Campus Life
Our college does not just excel in academics but also in certain extracurricular activities like: 1. Winning young leaders award under the ministry of youth welfare and sports. 2. Taking part in the National youth parliament.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is appreciable to some extend, they are helpful to us in academics as well as career-wise. This is a ragging free campus, the seniors are very friendly and can be approached for any help.
Admission
After completing my higher secondary I applied fro BAMS at SSCASR, I got 67% in my boards in science stream, the minimum eligibility is 50%. I had to submit the application in person at the office, the admissions part is administered by the Rajiv Gandhi university, counselling is done under them, the application fee is Rs. 2000.
Faculty
The faculty team is very good, great methodologies of teaching. Them give us ample time fo analysis of the lessons and answer our doubts efficiently. The classes are lively and interactive. All the faculties are well-trained Ayurvedic professionals too.
