Acharya Deshabhushan Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Belgaum, Karnataka is affiliated to RGUHS and was an initiative of the Latthe Education Society. The staff is appointed with respect to the rules and regulations laid down under CCIM and Ayush Govt. of India with special post-graduation degree in respective fields. Latthe Education Society was established on 13th June 1951. In order to duly honor late Annasaheb Latthe, the establishment of this vast society was dependent on the fund collected from “Dakshin Bharat Jain Sabha”. This great persona had to bear multiple responsibilities as Diwan of Kolhapur State, First Finance Minister of Bombay provision, councilor, Professor, Editor & Educationalist.
The headquarters is situated at Sangli. The Society has grown tremendously & now it is running as many as 38 educational institutions, including KG schools, primary schools, High school, Colleges & Professional institutions.
