Course Curriculum Overview :

Our course curriculum is well managed and is according to the approval of aitec. It's a 4 year course and we have total 8 semester. I college have regular pratical classes and theory classes are also good. We have many personality development classes. Lab sessions of our college are very fruitful.

Placement Experience :

Our college has placement cell which looks upon the placement of the students. Our department has less placements than other departments. College has to work on this to increase more placement. Internship is not provided by the college and we have to find it on our own.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure of the college is around 80000 per year. Fee of the college is feasible to most of the students. Fee for other facilities like hostel, transportation, examination fee etc are charged as taken or from time to time.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our college has scholarship facilities provided by state and central government, as well as from various institutions. Scholarship for sc/at students, poor students and also according to merit is given. Loan facilities are not provided by the college but we can avail this facility provided by various banks.

Campus Life :

We have extra curricular activities, but college must focus to increase those events and make sure maximum participation. Gender ratio of our department is more of boys than girls. There is no racial discrimination or anything. We have workshop four department and which is equipped with plane model and original for education purpose and stimulation etc.

Admission :

I got admission in this college based on my marks scored in CEE entrance examination, conducted by Government of Kerala. I got this college with my score in the exam. I got the course which I needed. I am doing my Btech in Aeronautical engineering. After clearing the exam i was called for interview and after producing all documents I was given admission. One should have Physics, chemistry and biology or computer science or maths in 12th.

Faculty :

Faculty of our department is good and they teach us very good. They are well experienced in teaching and has past experience as well. Our faculty is well qualified to teach us the course. Our faculty is good in theoretical classes.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
