Our course is CBCS based. It is a semester system. In every six months there will be an exam.I am studying chemistry so I have to choose my special paper from third semester.Students will get chance to choose their special paper according to their marks obtained in the first semester. The course is of two year. Two class tests are taken in every semester. Semester number and class test number are taken together and final marks are calculated.

Placement Experience

3.5

As the college is a general degree college, so most of the students choose teaching as their profession. But in case of science subjects especially in chemistry many students go for various types of industry such as pharmaceutical, petrochemical etc.So placement facility offered by college is in average condition. No,my college does not provide any internship except the students who are doing their research work under our college teachers.

College Events

4.5

My college celebrated various programs throughout the year.we celebrate independence day, republic day, birthday of renowned people and also annual festival of college. We also celebrate some social welfare programme.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is not expensive. It is feasible and comparatively lower than other college. In my course -M.sc in chemistry I have to pay around 11000 rupees per semester including registration fee, exam fee.So I have to pay a total of around 44000 rupees for the entire course. In non-lab based subject fee is slightly lower than lab based subject.

Fees and Financial Aid

No there is no direct scholarship or loan facility is available. Student can get Swami Vivekananda merit cum mean scholarship depending on their marks obtained in graduation.Minority student can get oikyashree scholarship.

Campus Life

5

In our college labs are in very good condition. We have sufficient amount of chemicals and other facilities such as electricity, gas are also available all time. There are a no. of effective lab attended to help us during practical. We also have a big play ground in our campus which is in very good condition.College has football, basketball, badminton, volleyball, kho-kho team both of boys and girls.College has seperate section to monitor this playing activity. In this college N.C.C and N.S.S are also available as extracurriculars activities.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very much helpful. We often get many important suggestion from them. They also share their experiences which they faced in NET and other competitive exams. Our college has an alumni committee but as I have got my admission in this college just before two months and no reunion is organised so i can not tell about our alumni. Our college is a ragging free campus and student and their parent have to declare against ragging during their admission.

Admission

At first I applied online for admission which was published in the college website. Then an entrance test was conducted by the college. Entrance test was taken in offline mode in college campus. Next based on the marks obtained in the entrance test a merit list was published by the college. Then i got a sms from college for payment the admission fee.Next I paid the fee in online mode. Then in college website a date was published for document verification. On that day l went to college for verification and my admission procedure was completed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.
