The course duration is 5 and half year that involves 1 year of intenship and the remaining 4 and half year are subject oriented. Fir thouree year are for basic non clinical subjects and the last year is for clinical subjects. And there are subjects that make you professional enough for placement in meat Industries ans wool industry or poultry sector or even a good clinician.

Placement Experience

Internship in veterinary hospital attached with the college, during which stipend of 15000 rupee per month is provided. Along with their are scope for the visit of companies like NSPDT and INTAS.

College Events

There are interclass sports and cultural events. Those who are selected are taken to perform further in intercollege and interuniversity level. Along with this their is compulsory NCC with this curriculum and it needs to complete camps which are adventurous.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This college is a government funded college and it's fee is nominal as compared to private colleges along with this the hostel fee is less compared to the services provided. The mode of payment is cash. Their is no additional fees to secure admission other then the government determined fee. It is fully transparent.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there is scholarship for students belonging to schedule caste, schedule tribe and other backward classes under the government scheme. And also for economically weaker section their are many schemes running.

There is nearly 1:1 ratio for boys and girls. There is no party organised officially. Students come from various part of the country. The atmost is great and friendly. There are groups for cultural and sports activity and other social groups are active in college.

Hostel Facilities

In the first year you have to share the room with some other batchmate but as you become senior you get a single room. Full facilities are provided. Hostel charges are ?5410 for year. Excluding the electricity charges.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are highly helpful and are always available for a talk and career guidance. And the alumni of this college are at highly decorated posts and are willing to lend a hand when get to know you belong to this college.

Admission

This promises great career and being empathetic towards animals I always wanted to serve them this is the only professional course available. For admission you have to appear in entrance exam called AIPVT, clear it and then apper for counselling to get a seat.

Professor-70 with average age of 45years nearly all of them are phd. In different discipline. There are 18 subjects during the course and the subject is teacher by different teachers depending on the topic in which they specialise. highly experienced.

Remarks:

This is one of the only three government college in Madhya Pradesh. There are very few veterinary Colleges in India and this college provides with excellent exposure and education. The faculty is also very supportive and nice.
