Its a very good college and one of. The collegs in Kerala with a very progressive mindset.The students actively involve in all social and political issues and are well versed with the state of our country and what we should do to bring it back on track

Course Curriculum Overview :

Its a good course curriculum.People interested in research and in depth knowledge can participate in internships which are valued by the college and can also be used in your resume.We have great facilities and is considered the best Engineering college in Kerala.

Placement Experience :

It holds one of the highest placement records in all engineering colleges of Kerala.Last years top placement was for 69 lakhs.Yes the college does provide internships to those who seek it.They can assist the researching processors in their work too.

College Events :

Our college hosts various cultural and technical events thouroughout an academic year.Our technical fest is called Drishti and hosts a large number of workshops tutorials technical events and sees hundreds of participants and visitors.This year our college is also hosting the ktu tech fest inviting applications from all over the state.Out culture fest Dhwani is considered to be one of the very best cultural festivals of all engineering collegeegs in the country.It has a footfall of thousands.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Its a government college and therefore has very low fees and necessary facilities.They also provide scholarships and stipends to the less fortunate and deserving students.Its a very affordable college and hence is preferred by all the students who have the necessary ranks

Fees and Financial Aid :

Our college provides necessary stipends and scholarships to the deserving students.They receive the amount every two months or soAnd its been found that yhe students use these amounts for their study needs and for their technical uses in and around the college.

Campus Life :

Our labs hosts all the latest technologies and machines and therefore is immensely usefu to the students as well as the researchers residing or teaching in tha campus.The labs are open till late nights and one. Can see them working late into the nights assisting some kind of projects.The college has avery good track record in sports and games and has won various championship's in the state and national level.The campus has a very good sex ratio.Its a very progressive campus wrt all issues like gender, sexual orientation etc.The men and women have the same curfew timings.And various student unions are actively involved in solving ans working. Towards a better campus environment.

Hostel Facilities :

Not opted for the college hostel and is staying outside in a private hostel.Its affordable and the rent is cheap enough so that wr have leftover money for our personal needs.there are a variety of accomodation facilities available in and near the college.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

All the seniors aare very helpful and are willing to assist you in technical as well as Cultural fields.They provide a constant source of support and advice in case of a negative event.All the juniors and seniors host a very good bond between them.Our college has been declared a ragging free campus and has really boosted the relationships between the batches.

Admission :

I wrote the kerala engineering entrance examination and got alloted this college based on my rank.I selected my the branches i preferred and alloted a preference order to the branches.Finally i was alloted into a branch based on my rank.

Faculty :

Very professional and capable faculty.Almost all the faculty are phd Holding graduates and are very capable and efficient in their efforts.They actively support us in our studies and are hugely involved in ensuring that the standard of the class remains at a higher level.

CUSAT Cochin campus- best college life you can get in kerala

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

My College Life at FISAT

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students.The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.
