i am excited to spend my four years in this college.

Remarks :

Our college management according to my knowledge is up to the mark. I think there is some scope of clarity. This institute provides us with good theoretical as well as practical knowledge, so the students are prepared to take part in different National level competitions and placing themselves in a good place.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Our course structure and syllabus are formed by the Pharmacy council of India. so, there is linearity in the syllabus all over India. The exam and question format are structured and scheduled by MAKAUT and the toughness is fairly good. This is a job-oriented course, so the course structure is helpful to give industrial knowledge and make ourselves feet for the market. There is a small industrial visit to make ourselves comfortable in the industrial environment.

Placement Experience :

As this is a professional course and students want to get placed after completing the course the college takes steps to groom them at the very primitive steps. The college also helps to conduct our short internship program in some reputed company. The percentage of placement in our college at about 70% to 80%. Rest students go for the higher studies and research work. Many mother companies like "Cipla", "gsk", "Nestle", "elly-Lilly" came for campusing and took a good number of students every year. The average CTC is 3-4 lakh per annum.

College Events :

Being a student of 1st year I have already attended many types of social and cultural programs in our college. there are some technical programs like seminars, workshops are arranged by our college. In those programs, we attended and got certificates which are most valuable for our future interviews and others. Thus in a year, our 4th-year students arrange a great fest "IRIS" and there they organize some different types of competitions which can encourage us to show our hidden skills.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

As a private college, it has a moderate fee structure which I can't think as too expensive for the quality of education they provide. We are, being a part of health care professional, going through different laboratory experiment and library, seminar hall and other co-curricular activity facilities. We have a well equipped smart classroom, computer lab and language lab. There is also a common room for both boys and girls, central stores and gym facilities which are available for every student with proper maintenance according to me this all include value for money and make the course pocket friendly.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For UG course, our college doesn't offer any scholarship. Our college accepts all types of educational loan but one thing I must say that the management is very helpful for doing the huge and lengthy procedure of educational loan. They consider the student problem and their need in the first place. In this procedure, the management, as well as many faculty members, help me to avail this educational loan very smooth and linear.

Campus Life :

In our stream, both the male and female students are getting equal opportunities for perusing their career at a high level according to their potential. So, the gender ratio can be taken as 1:1. There are students from all castes and creeds and we all welcome them with our open heart and knowledgeable and fear-free mind. Other than college work and course curricular activities we have different co-curricular activities. Our college encourages us to participate in different activities like seminars, workshops, industrial training's in different colleges and other reputed organization. There is a good healthy environment for the nourishment of our studies and knowledge. No political influence hampered our learning process.

Alumni/Alumna :

We have done several meetings with our Alumni Association and the seniors are very helpful and always there to share their experiences. It is very beneficial for knowing what types of opportunities we are going to get after completion of this course. Not only the alumni our current seniors are also giving us feedback about this course every time which helps us to keep ourselves to up-to-date with current and on-going affairs. Not only in the study they also guide us to hunt different hidden skills and talents which we never know without their guidance. This experience makes our college life more memorable.

Admission :

1) Firstly, PHARMACY is a miscellaneous science as it links health sciences with pharmaceutical sciences and natural sciences. I love these types of innovative thinking with discovered medicines and I also want to make some difference for our Pharmacy world with the help of this college. After passing my secondary examination, I was mentally prepared for this course and I prepared for this entrance. From the 1st day, I wanted to be a part of this college because this was my dream college. 2) This is a renowned private college of Pharmacy as per NIRF ranking.which can give us luminous future with good discipline under respected faculties. 3) After completing my higher secondary examination, I attended the WBJEE Entrance exam. After declaring the result, there were 3 steps of counselling. There I had to choose my offered college in whole West Bengal and I gave the name of this college firstly. Fortunately, the score which I achieved in that exam, that was enough rank to get a chance for admission in this college and finally, I admitted in this college.

Faculty :

Our all respected faculties gave us their total effort to us by giving excellent study materials. They provide us with lecture videos and study materials on the same topics for our own help. they help us not only in our college but also other times from anywhere. They also love us as their own. they help us in our laboratory work. they are very punctual also. Our college arranges or makes a mentor-ship chain to make the bonding more tight between students and teachers.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are not that good when compared to any other private pharmacy college. However, placements are decent here. About 60% - 70% of the students get placed every year mostly in the marketing sector. But the placement rate varies every year. The average salary package offered for marketing students is Rs 16000 - 22000 per month. Overall, the college needs to improve its placement numbers.

Placement Experience:

Good placement opportunities are made available to students. Although more focus is on marketing department rather than production one, still payscale is good enough. Students are prepared to crack their placement interviews and get their dream job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum consists of both theoretical as well as practical subjects. However, practical subjects have more credits than the theoretical ones for first two years and then for next two years, its opposite. Each year consists of 2 semesters and each semester again consists of sessionals. Apart from sessionals and semester exams, a final viva exam is conducted at the end of 4th year.
