Remarks :

To get admission in the B.Pharm degree course in GNIPST; WBJEE & CEE-AMPAI qualification is required. After cracking the WBJEE exam, through counselling procedure I got admission to this college. I preferred this college over others because I found many good reviews on this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The B.Pharm degree course mainly comprises 4 years. We have to give 2 semester exams per year & also internal exams each month as for continuous assessment. laboratory facilities are quite good with various advanced instruments. There is a very good library facility; we can collect any book at any time as per our need. The faculty student ratio of our college is also good. Our faculty members are too much supportive and helpful. The faculties are highly experienced and prepare us to qualify for various competitive examinations after B.Pharm & also groom us as per professional world need.

Class Size : 64Course Fees : INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship opportunities are also provided by our college. It mainly has to do in the 3rd or 4th year of the 4 years course. We have to do industrial training in any reputed pharma company in this course.

Placement Experience :

Campus placement is quite good. Many reputed companies visit our college frequently & they recruit a good number of students. Various reputed companies like Nestle, Cipla, Alembic, Fresenius Kabi, Pulsus visit our college to give placement on campus. A large number of students got placement from campusing in our college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The overall fees structure is quite good. For completion of 4year B.Pharm course, approximately 350000 Lakh is required, which is decided as per university rule. There is also the opportunity to avail of various scholarships.

Campus Life :

We have very beautiful greenery & well decorated college campus with cricket ground, basketball court, badminton court etc. Every year an annual fest is organised. Also throughout the year different ceremonies are organised ranging from annual sports, cricket, badminton tournament to various cultural programme. In Dewali, our college organizes a programme for visit orphanage home and old age home and tries to help them in some aspect.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students are eligible for getting placements, and they get their placements. Most of the students appearing for job interviews get jobs, and others opt for going for further studies. The average salary package offered varies from 3 LPA to 5 LPA on the primary level. But after getting the promotion you can earn high depending on the knowledge and hard work and determination. Several companies visit this college like Cipla, Sun Pharma, Micro labs, others, etc. College also provides campus placements. You will be satisfied with this college.

A genuine review of my college as a current student

Remarks:

There is a lot of scope for improvement, especially where laboratory equipment and materials are concerned. The college also needs to provide better guidance to GPAT aspirants hoping to pursue an M.Pharm. There should also be more opportunities for internships and training, as well as campus placements. Social media and online presence could be more on par with current trends.

Admission:

To get the admission in the college you have to crack WBJEE or JEE main exam. The u have to council. Then by the seat or merit rank you will get admission in this college. You have to pay for around 70 thousands for admission only.

Placement Experience:

Look if u taking this vital step of your life for job or placement then you will take a big wrong decision by taking admission in this college. Because from 2017 placement is extremely poor. Company aren't coming this year also.

Remarks:

Our infrastructure is very good with big labs, smart and digital classes. We have highly qualified teachers who are very caring. We have lot of chemicals for conducting our experiments. We have lot of festivals like saraswati puja celebrated in college. But we have a negetive point that our college don't provide scholarship to talented students.

Entrance Preview:

There are seats based on WBJEE as well as JEE (Main). I got admitted with my WBJEE rank. Frankly I opted for the course not the college due to an inclination towards chemistry based subjects. The college was within 5km of my residence so that helped.

Placement Experience:

Placements are mostly given in marketing sector. So if you have no issues in working as a marketing executive you'll be happy. Jobs in production are less and also packages are lower. recently there has been development in placements in Pharmacological sectors.
