Remarks :
Small and compact campus. Food and accommodation is quite average. Internet quality in some hostel buildings is very bad.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is different for each branch but exam structure consists of online quiz and written papers. Being an IT based institute, practicle based learning is more encouraged. Many competitions are held for different technical knowledge like programming, network theory etc.
Placement Experience :
College have a placement cell whoch maintains relations with different companies etc. for placement. However there is a lack in placements, many students remain unemployed or do not get placement. It is easy to get internships but I haven't availed any internship until now.
College Events :
Many events such as programming in different languages, dirt races, hacking events etc. in technical field. Annual fest occurs consisting tech events, intercollege dance and singing competitions and celebrity nights. These are included in cultural events. Moreover, various festivals are also celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is quite expensive like Rs. 2 lac+ fees for students without any scholarship. Whereas students with tution fee waivers are charged around Rs. 50000. Modes of payments accepted by college are E challan or sbi collect Net banking Demand Draft etc. There is complete transparency in fee break down.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes college provides scholarship to merit students namely students who stands on 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in acedamics. There is a decrease in average 10 percent fees for these students. I have also applied for a scholarship which our state government provides.
Campus Life :
Gender ratio is quite low like 5 boys to 1 girl. International students are also present in the campus. Campus life is good in this college. Workshops are also held for different subjects or field of interests. Extracurricular activities are good but could have beeb managed well. There is lack of management for such events.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, I have opted for hostel. In first year, the room is shared by three students selected by a lottery system. Second year onwards we get choices to live alone or with others. Average hostel rooms with wifi facilities are there. Each semester, we are charged Rs. 10000 for hostel rooms excluding mess charges.
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors are very helpful if we know them or form a bond with them. Every student have his or her correspondent based on roll numbers who help them in problems if approached; they are either 2nd, 3rd or 4th year too.
Admission :
I got admission through Jee mains exam. I got a better branch related to programming so I preferred this college. As Jee results were declared, counseling was done and I kept this college as one of my choices. The procedure was simple. We have to register in our hostel on the day of admission.
Faculty :
Faculty of our college are aged between 35 to 45 years and are qualified in their departments. The faculty interacts with students if required. The students and teachers have got email Ids for further doubt solving etc. They might have experience in industries but they have certification in their departments.
