Course Curriculum Overview :

Master t of social work is basically professional course. This is 2 year course and divided into four semesters. Semester exam taken into may and the December. Classes are held for 5 days in a week. Three daya for theory classes and rest of 2 days field visits to put the study into practical that what we learn and how to use these at ground root level. Because social work is all about community

Placement Experience :

Every has to l do internship after the may exam in month of june for 1 month. tbey can choose any organisation in their own they have to submit application for intership to department and department itself takw care of it.

College Events :

ALL Festival AND MANY MORE University Events sports events. In a month the average of whole events are 5 to 6 evwnts generrlt od in a montjlh. Many dancw competition held in unibersits inter department. Beside oc these many more activities held in department

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees taken by semesterly in first sem we have to pay 37 k and in second sem we have to pay 20 k and beside it 300 is examination fees that we havw to pay. So these fees is very expensive if we compare these qith other courses so these ia cditeria of all of these

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No am not opted for any loan or scholarship. Only 1 student of oir class ia avlw to get scholarship becaise aje is first u. Entrance exam rest of all students are has pay there fees and am not taking any loam for beacuse my family is capable to pay my fees

Campus Life :

The campus lifw of panuab University ia very good. All students are very cultural and love each other. There are peace love and humbel witj eacj other and they arw veey good. If we tapk about sports event of the university this is also a vwru good many sports events are generally held in universiy ans the panjab university recently won tje first position in the khelo india games.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities very gppd of university. Students has to pay only 6000 for the one semster and the mess for lunch and dinner and the 35 rupeea per diet is very adjusted pr8ce foe students. And the one room is suited foe 2 students 2 studemt lived in one room

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors of our course are vwry helpful.they provide avery type of help in our stude they give us lectures and nites about the study and they also givw us advises realtes to our stude

Admission :

My relatives suggested me about these course. I given the entrance test on 8th june 2019 and after that i cleared Gd and PI after all of that i took admission on 28 july 2019. And my classes start from 1 august. Even after my admission some seats are vacant and waiting list of students for vaccant seat issued by the department and till last week of August all seats are filled.

Faculty :

Faculty of our department is very good. Officially 3 members in our faculty 3 are paying guest teacher. Our chairpersons is very highly educated person and assistant professor is also very good. Field visit coordinator parshant do their job very well. He ia the one who organise all the visits for students

Department of Political Science - An Enthusiastic and Active Arm of Panjab University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best thing about this curriculum is that it is non very burdensome for us and easy to navigate through. It is well divided into multiple units making it easier to navigate through. For example - there is this course of key concepts in the very first semester which lays foundation for upcoming all semesters. Similarly in the first semester, we are taught Constitution of India laying the basics very clear . I personally choosed this course due to my interest and it's application in almost every competition exam out there. There can be a little bit improvement regarding the introduction of research methodology courses. Since there are no courses yet, it often cause a problem for students who want to pursue PhD in future. The frequency of exams is fine enough as there is a lot of time for us to adjust in the new semester and enjoy all the curricular and co curricular activities without a constant load of examinations all the time. This is the best thing I find.

The basics about Punjab University

Course Curriculum Overview:

Show me the curriculum was pretty good, it did not cover all the clinical aspect. I would definitely say that, but overall it was moderate level of education. It helped me to make my basics much more stronger, and this helped me in preparing for my future exams. The class is generally of 50 to 45 minutes. we also have practical classes of one hour twice a week. The classes generally starts from 9:30 AMand can continue till 3 PM.
