Remarks :

Positive is that with the college there comes the so much coveted iit tag a slight negative is that there is so much construction but it is necessary for the development of the college in the coming years.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very well designed with a good balance of lectures, tutorials and lab components. The exam structure follows continuous evaluation so there won't be burden for only once. One need to study throughout the semester to ace it.

Placement Experience :

The placement and the internship opportunities of the college is very good, there was over 90 percent student placed this year which include domestic as well as foreign placement in the top companies. For the internship it's also very good, and many of the student gets the PPO.

College Events :

Inter college tech fest- prometeo largest in northwest India. Inter college cultural fest- ignus largest in northwest India. Inter college sports fest- varchas largest in northwest India. Inter college literature fest- aaftab. Inter college e-cell fest- inicio. Intra college cultural fest- spandan. Intra college sports fest- kridansh. Intra college literature fest- goonj. Inter college art fest- framed.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Total fee per semester is about 130000 including every thing from hostel to mess. It's quite feasible if you consider the facilities you are provided here. If it was any other college providing the same facilities its fee would be much higher than 100000.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

If your family income is less than 1 lac then 75 percent of the total fee will be free and if between 1 to 5 lac the 50 percent of the fee will be free and there are also many bank available to give loans at a very nominal rate of interest.

Campus Life :

The extracurricular activities are also very good we have a very active student gymkhana which looks after each extracurricular activity be it to be of sports cultural or tech. We also have hostel regatta to look after the hostel affair.

Hostel Facilities :

The annual fee is inclusive of the hostel fee and hostel is compulsory for everyone. Each one is provided single room which will be their till the end of the course, each room is fitted with AC almirah and every sort of amenities.

External Expense : Rs. 2000 - Rs. 4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network are quite helpful. And the senior are also quite helpful. The alumni network is good and it is expanding. There is a system of student guide where senior guide the freshers to cope the pressure of the college.

Admission :

The admission to different IITs is through two tier exam structure. First a student need to qualify the JEE Main and after that JEE Advance. After qualifying these two exam one needs to attend the JOSSA Counseling after which the college and the branch is alloted.

Faculty :

Each of the faculty members is a Ph. D. holder and the are expert in there fields. They have a very good research background. If anyone is interested in research, then they can take full advantage. The student to faculty ratio is also less than 10 and one of the best in the country.

College journey

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements starting from the 4th year. You get an option to opt a semester for internship in 4th year and the other semester becomes your placement semester. Good known companies visit our campus and we proudly present a good placement rate every year including the recession time. My plan is to work in an IT firm after my college degree. 90-95 percent students get placed by the end of cycle, rest go for masters.

Placement Experience:

The average placement of the college can be concluded as 4-7 lpa. Mining being the creamy layer of the college With an average placement of 12-16 lpa and 100% placement is really phenomenal. Electrical engineering has recently performed very well with an astonishing 95% placement of students with an average of 6-7 lpa and 12,16 lpa being highest. Agricultural engineering is also an underrated branch of the college with 100% placement. Other branches like civil engineering and mechanical engineering are relatively not preferred by students due to bad professors and lack of good placement ratio
