Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum was customized as per the latest industry trends. Digital marketing itself is an emerging and futuristic field of marketing. We studied the principles of marketing, online advertising, partner management, campaign management, etc. It was a pretty informative and insightful program.
Placement Experience :
Some of the major recruiters from our college include big brands like Zee News, Le Meridian, Reliance, Apollo Tires, American Express, Star News, etc. The packages offered are also pretty decent. I didn't do any internship since mine was just a one year program.
College Events :
Many youth festivals and inter-college tournaments are organized in our institute. Being an institute for media studies, there were a lot of activities happening throughout the year. Umang was our annual youth fest while the International youth festival was another similar event that featured different artistic performances.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
For the first year, I paid INR 49,000 which included security deposit, tuition fee, and GST charges. I opted for a three installment plan, though college also has a five installment plan. My total course fee was 1,20,000 INR for a one-year diploma program.
Campus Life :
Inter CDC sports meet is usually organized in the month of November. We attended innumerable seminars, guest lectures. Campus life was pretty awesome in general and we got to work on live projects which helped us have the first-hand experience. Students were there from different backgrounds, both financial and cultural.
Admission :
The YMCA institute conducts its own entrance exam in order to grant admission to the postgraduate programs. I appeared for the entrance exam and ultimately got shortlisted for the next round. After the counseling round, I presented all my documents and paid the fee. I was looking for a diploma in digital marketing and ended up on this course and the media management curriculum was an added plus to what I was looking for.
Faculty :
Faculty was pretty supportive and experienced. They all had a relevant amount of the first-hand experience in the field of digital marketing. It was very crucial since digital marketing is all about practical experiences. Even our learning was mostly via practicals, working on live campaigns.
