Remarks :

College management has gone lot of change previously hopefully for the betterment. New director appointed from IIT kharagpur. Lot of faculty recruited having Masters from outside india. Student Gymkhana has been recently formed. It must have become more s

Entrance Preview :

AIEEE, now JEE maines. I scored 210/360. I got 8361 rank at that time. Cut off rank was 10k. Now cut off rank has improved and it now closes at 8k. IIITA is a premier institute in the field of IT and ECE.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is pretty much updated and industry relevant. Programming starts from day 0 at college for IT students and circuit designing for ECE students. ECE students are also given adequate exposure to IT subjects which helps later during the placement season.

Internships Opportunities :

I got into Qualcomm for summer internship after 3rd year. Stipend was 20k. Stay, food, flight tickets and cab by company. Highest stipend offered was by directi 55k, followed by codenation/Dev factory - 50k. Now, there has been a recent trend in college where a lot of startups visit to hire interns

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible, Infact i will say, pretty cheap. i paid around 3. 2 lac for complete Btech including mass and hostel. during my time - 25k tution fees per sem. 4. 5k per semester for twin sharing room. 10k for mess per sem.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Merit schloarship to 6 students form ECE (out of 90) and 10 from IT (out of 180) was prevalent during our time. scholarship amount 36 per sem. Merit cum means for studenst from economically challenging background for students whose parents had annual income less than 2. 5 lpa, 80 per year i guess.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular are handled by students only and these are on the increase with passing time. excellent sports facilities (cricket ground, football ground, basketbaal, badminton, squash, swimming pool. ) separate club for gaming, literary, robotics, all studnets operated

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel are beyond the expectations. Since, the institute is newly built, you can expect all modern equipments being used. high speed internet, advanced lighting/earthing quipments being used.

Alumni/Alumna :

Since its only been 15 years the institute began, alumni network is in budding mode. But whatever base we have, they have been very helipful, whether its giving advice, calling companies for placement workshops, they have been very helpful. The startups they have founded come to campuses for hiring/ internship.

Exam Structure :

One mid sem 30 marks. one end sem 75 marks. 2 quizzes 15 each. 10 marks for attendance, 5 teacher assessment. quizzes are objective. relative grading. Balanced study life at campus. Labs functioning full night for night owls. separate credits for labs/ pr

Faculty :

Faculty is decent but you have to do a lot of self study and honestly try all the assignments. Exam sheet checking is done by multiple TAs which sometimes tend to be partial. Overall it is a college to give a proper thought while filling college prioritie

Placement Experience:

The placement is very good in my college. From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra etc do visit my college. The highest package is 16 lacs per annum and the average package is 4 lacs per annum. 95 % of students of the batch get placement every year. My plan is to get a placement in a product-based company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

In this college, there is 100 percent placement of all students. But some students choose to take admission in post-graduation. Post-graduation course is not available in this college due to University policy.
