Terrific Experience

Remarks :

They have to be updated but they still want to go old school.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The exams are conducted by the campus and evaluated by the same faculties there. My first lesson was that if you get an arrear from another department, you're gonna sit with it for a couple of years. If you're good at the faculties, chances of passing are high.

Placement Experience :

The majority of the companies coming up for placements are IT companies. You need to have a good knowledge of coding to get placed. Mechanical core companies are less and they demand a higher CGPA

College Events :

There's an annual tech fest Vidyut. Kalotsavam takes place every year. Ugadi, Onam, Pooja, etc are there but no Christmas or Ramzan. We have a great celebration for Amma's birthday which is the birthday of Mata Amritanandamayi which lasts for two days.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Really expensive. This fee of 165000 was during my time and now the fees rates have risen up to 300000(three lakh Indian rupee). Supply fee for a paper is 700(which you have to write n number of times to pass coz they need more money) and redo fees is 5000

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I haven't applied for any scholarship or education loan. The college provides scholarship based on the entrance exam they have for taking in students

Campus Life :

There's a student gender ratio of 50:50. However, Labs and infrastructure are available on a small scale but it's not open for students to work on their own. Sports competitions are fair because students are the ones who are organizing it.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are helpful. Few of them rag, few of them snatch your girlfriends, few of them won't even like to interact

Admission :

There was an entrance test and post passing it, a call letter was sent. I had to be present on a given date with 10000 in form of DD. It was in early 2016 and now, the fees have risen. Then, even if I want that seat or not, I had to give that 10000 and I thought yeah, well, this college is gigantic and lots of placement offers are there and they claim 100% placements. So why don't I pursue my studies here, I was into cars and me obvi. looked for Automobile which was not here and I settled for Mechanical

Faculty :

My department has 70 faculties including lab staff. They are sweet unless you stand up against them. Be a good student, you're their pet. Teaching efficiency is 90% for 75% of the staff. The rest 25% is terrible. I couldn't resist myself from saying I don't understand a word you're saying, dear sir and I'm paying for that now.

Placement Experience:

The college has good placement,It depends on the time your being passed out. You should actually prepare your best to get placed in good companies. Also don't depend on college placement completely you should also go off campus placement too.

Placement Experience:

Yeah they do have placement here and they prefer their students more which is good and most of the time they give placement as teaching assistants. Sometimes only in the plant but mostly it's for TA and especially if you are doing your masters here it is so good

Remarks:

Good government University with better placement opportunities, infrastructure and good educational environment. Fee Structure is feasible and the university is stands apart.

Placement Experience:

Placement and job opportunities are fairly good in my college. A lot of good companies come for placement drives every year but it mostly depends on the student themselves. Companies like cisco,MuSigma, Goldman Sachs, Ernst and Young, Larsen and Toubro and many more come every year.
