Remarks :

Great ambiance, good placement, wonderful and helpful faculty, wonderful location. Several fests and events spread out through the academic year with technical, cultural and language fests. Several student chapter and profession societies exist within campus like SPIE, IET etc.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Good course and faculty in ECE. 8 Semesters in total. Scoring/Grading is in absolute scale that is out of 10GPA. Curriculum is set by University- MAKAUT. The curriculum is not as up to date as wanted but relatable and good for base development.

Placement Experience :

Provides numerous placement opportunities to students. Avg packages-4LPA Highest-10LPA. Companies like:- Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, SAP Labs, Ernst and Young, Amazon, Byju's, Cloud Kaptan and many more are regulars on campus.

College Events :

Technical Fests- Techstorm, Cultural Fest-Elixir, Language Fest- Panache. Participation of thousands of students. Techstorm is based on robotics and gaming with app development competitions as well whereas Elixir is based on drama, music, dance and comedy.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible. It is quite cheap. Over 4 years costs about 3. 8lakhs. The fee structure is broken down into 8 Semesters. 40-43 thousand each semester approx. For those who can't afford it have opportunities to avail loans from bank.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Loan facility available for fee structure for those who can't afford. No direct scholarship is available. But certain central based scholarship tests are available which waiver the student fees but students need to take test for those scholarships and their family income must be less than a specified value

Campus Life :

Proper extra-curricular and co-curricular activities are spread out through the academic year. As mentioned several fests take place. Plus there are annual sports day, football tournaments, cricket tournaments and also throwball tournaments for boys and girls

Alumni/Alumna :

Good alumni network setup. BPPIMT has an alumni association to keep in touch with all the alumni's. This association hosts events within campus. Alumni sporting events also take place. There are regular alumni meetups.

Admission :

Through entrance exam (WBJEE) Based on the rank obtained. Counselling done by wbjee. Stream choice depends on rank My preferred stream was ECE No interview as such for admission Stream choices were CSE/ECE/IT/EE

Faculty :

Great faculty. Very helpful. Faculties and technical staff are more like friends. They help at every opportunity. Very much approachable. There are 35 odd faculty members in each department providing expertise in each subject as required.

Overall a Standard College; have parallels to its parent college FIEM

Placement Experience:

At the end of the 6th Semester many MNCs and startups like CTS, TCS, Virtusa, Wipro, etc visit our campus for internship opportunities as well as pre-placement offers. Most of the students do crack some or other internship opportunities and get in-hand industry experience. For our batch the highest offer we received is 7LPA and the average package ranges at about 4.5 - 3.5LPA ! Almost everyone does get placed, but the average ranges at about 70%-80%.
