Remarks :
One thing we did not like in our college is student politics. It hamperd our class during lecture though we were never forced for attending anykind of student poltitical program. but we didinot like politics in our college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had completed graduation and post graduation both from these college. I had studied geography (hons) in this college. I had spent 5 years on this college. when I completed b. sc from this college I had to pass both in 3 years of course duration.
Placement Experience :
No my college didn't provide internship in my subject. science department of our college is better then other college. this college has 2 campus one for graduation in college Street and another is post graduation department in saltlake.
College Events :
Annual sports day. we had celebrated 100 years of foundation of our college. it was established in 1872. we organise conference on various topics. we also celebrate teachers day every year. Freshers welcome program also organised every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Our college fees structure in my subject is around 10000 yearly. we had to provide college fees in half yearly basis. our college also provide subsidy for economic weaker section students. we had to provide lab charge also. but overall college fee is not expensive
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have got swami Vivekananda scholarship during my study in post graduation. this scholarship provide 30000 ruppes yearly during post graduation study for two years. I had got 60000 in years. there are also other scholarship facility.
Campus Life :
Female ration in our college is higher then male students ratio. our college also organio workshop in science department. several economic background students study in our college. no discrimination in our college on ground of religion or in gender basis.
Hostel Facilities :
No I haven't opted hostel. our college also provide hostels for students. our college hostel fees is much lower. student coming from a long distance prefer to stay in college hostel. college hostel also provides basic facilities to students.
Alumni/Alumna :
Though we have completed our study on our college but we always remain in touch, whenever our college organasie any kind of cultural program we attend them. we are in touch with our teachers also. teachers are helpful.
Admission :
Firstly i had to appeared for counselling then i got selected according to my merit list. then i submitted all my documents for verification. then i had to submit college fees for that session. Then i went to office and they show bank recipt and they gave me my college id.
Faculty :
Play ground seminar hall and library with collection of huge number of books is available here. it has old library where all types of books are available. you will find all kind of books. it also provides lab for science students.
