Entrance Preview :

CET - Commom Entrance Test SIT (Siddaganga Institute of Technology- Tumkur) is one of the top college in KarnatakaI studied. My 12th class and Diploma in this institution only So I continued and eager to joined and studied in SIT.

Internships Opportunities :

In SIT so many companies are came for campus interview. College offered many companies to visit and recruit the students. I was selected for the first round in Wipro and Perot companies and it was a good experience.

Placement Experience :

Almost 60% of the students are placed at that timeVisited CompaniesTCS, IBM, HP, Perot, Symphony teleca, Wipro, Infosys, Ness technologies etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I joined the college in payment seat mine around 45000/- per annum. But I am not sure about the other fee structure.I taught at that time it was expensive.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No Idea about the scholarship and loan facility. But some of the friends are got scholarships but I am not kn owned on this.

Campus Life :

It was an extraordinary experience in Campus, I enjoyed lot during college days, Studies, Events, Sports, Competitions , project works. And interaction with professors was also good. Good relationships with students and faculties.

Exam Structure :

College conducted Per month internals for theory and for practicals and one exam for semester. It was both(hectic and chilled out), if the subjects are easy then chilled out other wise hectic.

Faculty :

I proud to be a student of my college SIT. I felt so many faculties are very good in teaching and supported the students to explore the ideas in us. Sunitha Madam taking Software testing subject Very good teaching.

Great college to study

From the sem odlf 6th r 7th we will be eligible to take part in placement drives last year we had dxc company where 170 students got selected and accenture 50.students and zscaler and many other companies do visit out college even Infosys wipro last year we have 70% of students getting placed

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for internships and from 7th semester students are eligible to sit in placements many companies came for internships and placements. Here average package is around 4-7 LPA highest package offered is 22.4lpa. Here 93% of eligible students are placed in on campus placement drive.

Remarks:

Well it was a emerging glorious institution, so I chose it. Also it has good facilities with good experience of atleast 10 years in the field of education. The infrastructure of my university is excellent. It has all the facilities needed for the overall development of a student. Although it us situated little of the city, it is totally worth the travel.
