Remarks :

Overall College is good. Many things you will learn in the college which will help you in your whole life. It is better as compared to other private colleges. Being a government college it's rules are somewhat strict but beneficial for us.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course Curriculum is well planned.At the starting of semester we come to know the whole schedule of the courses, holidays, events etc.so we can planned our things in our way.College provides practical knowledge with theory also as we have practical lab with almost each theory subjects. Some days are Hectic as we have class and labs on whole day from 8 am to 6 pm, but some days are very chill too.We have off on Saturday and Sunday also.

Placement Experience :

Yes, Placements are good in VNIT.Many good companies like Amazon, Bajaj, Fiderlity, Citi India,Reliance etc.visits the college.Almost all the students who sits for the placement gets placed.Average package would be around 6-6.5 lakh per annum.Companies too visit for internship also and different companies have their different stipends.

College Events :

We have two big feasts, one is technical and other is cultural.They are for 3-4 days.It will be a great fun to attend them.These will the one of the best days in the college life.Many students from different colleges from all over the country come to participate in the events.Many big celebrities also visited our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

As it is a government college, so it's fees is less than the other private colleges.There have special fee concession for OBC and ST-SC students.As a general student I have to pay 66600 -/- for every semester.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes we can get Educational loans. Students having family income less than 5 lakh per annum will get their 2/3 fees refund.Their are various different government scholarship too.We can get educational loans easily.

Campus Life :

There are many extracurricular activities going on in the college over the year.We have Departmental gathering, Institutional gathering, Freshers, many different sports competition, dance competition, singing competition etc.We have different technical workshops also for one day.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes I have opted for Hostel.In first year we were four students in a room.Room was big and have bed, chair, cupboard, table for all four of us.In second year we were two students in a room and now in third year we get our personal room.Infrastructure of hostel is good, we have a TV room playing room etc.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

College have a very strong alumni network.This strong network helps us in many ways especially in the Placements.Seniors are very helpful,you can ask them for anything related to academic or any personal things.Because they have been pass through the same phase in which we are in so they can give us a good advice and suggestions.

Admission :

I got the admission through the JEE Mains exam.Admission process are quite simple.Just you have to submit your documents like a copy of 12th, 10th mark sheet, a copy of your All India Rank etc.by reporting in the college.

Faculty :

As it is a National College so all the Faculty are very well qualified.Teachers have good command on their subjects.Teachers are very punctual too.They have a very good experience and have tremendous knowledge.

Placement Experience:

After the 7th semester of the last year i.e. last year a placement drive takes place and the companies which come in the placement drive offers the students who has passed all the semester without any pending backlogs. 70 percent of the students get placement every year.

A Pretty Underrated College

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester itself. Last year a ton of companies visited the campus right from TCS, Infosys, and Accenture to ZS associates, Veritas, etc. There is a good opportunity for nontech branches also in the college, the package is not high but it is good. According to the college, almost 78% of students got the placements. The highest packages were 45 LPA Amazon, 44 LPA Microsoft, and 36.5 LPA D.E.Shaw. The majority of the placements above 12 LPA were off campus, few were on campus. My plans after getting a degree are to be placed in good company with a good package

The placements are very good. The average pafkage is around 7lpa and there are almost 30+ companies visiting our college every year This time the highest package offered was 32lpa by visa.also Deutsche bank gave 19lpa, hp gave 23lpa, jp morgan gave 20lpa, barclays gave 17lpa and ma y such offers were given.

CSE at SIT Nagpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

All the students are given electives to choose and we also have the compulsory courses too, common for all. The electives could be chosen based on varied interests of students and are very engaging. The compulsory courses are chosen and kept very wisely and are essential for computer science and engineering students. The courses and evaluation plans are very well created and curated for students to be able to solve real world problems too later in professional and personal lives. There aren't much suggestions and areas to improve as of now. Exams and tests are conducted almost every two weeks. This keeps the students keen on learning and practicing all the while and doesn't let them slag in between the semester. The exams are monitored from the headquarters at Pune, and hence all is kept under check and maintained.

As we talk before that our college can guarantee placements upto 90 to 95 percentage that is good enough and our lowest package is around 2.5LPA and the highest is 20LPA. BVPCOE entrance exam i got 187 rank and took mechanical engineering and choose this college because i wanted this course only.
