The college is the best one so thumbs up from my side.Everyone should have a taste of this wonderful college life and be able to share there experiences with others also.This will help you become a good and successful person

Course Curriculum Overview :

Every day is quite interesting with regards to the academics and curriculum department.If we have a hectic day then we have a chill day too.Exams are tough but not tough when you are exam ready.Scoring is easy but questions are sometimes tricky

Placement Experience :

The campusing is good.Tcs, byjus, lido learning, deloitte, etc are coming.They are recruiting people in mass scale.They have a huge pay scale, like byjus is offering abpay scale of 7 - 10 lacs p.a.which is quite good

College Events :

Amity founders day Dandiya Holi Diwali Durga puja Amiphoria - the annual fest of Amity which is a spectacle.It is a 3 days college festival and there are djs and inter tournaments between colleges.The final day there are celebrities coming

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Being a private college it is a bit expensive but its because for the students only.It is the costliest in Kolkata but the features are also the best.Remember that is the no.1 non profit University in India

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

They have no special scholarship exam but they provide scholarship on the basis of your 12 marks and the entrance exam of the college.Like they give you upto 80% scholarship which is quite beneficial for a student

Campus Life :

There is no gender bias in the college or in the hostel or in the dorms.Everyone participates actively for each campaign.Seminars are regularly being held for the knowledge giving purpose and so that the students have a better outlook at the future and the outside world

Hostel Facilities :

No idea but i heard the hostel structure is well maintained and the averanve rentals are quite economical.They have their own cafeteria and lounge for students and other persons.Its a ll floor hostel wilth different amenities

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The college seniors are way too friendly.They are like real good and helpful.From giving notes to sharing experiences and guidance they have become someone in our life whom we will remember in our life

Admission :

I apllied for btech and bsc both in Biotech.Both the streams had the same entrance exam.So i got selcted and finally apllied for Btech Biotechnology.It was a tough choice.Both the streams were good.

Faculty :

All the teachers are well qualified.Each and every professor had adoctorate degree.They are so superior in their field that no one can ever argue.They have vast amount of knowledge and experiences which helps us to have a better idea

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

From seventh semester the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited are like TCS, Cognizant, infosys, mindtree and many others. The avg pkg is 6 lpa and highest is 12 lpa. 90 percent students gets placed.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

College was good in terms of studies and many more. But now it fails in giving placement. Most of the students are still unemployed. Only 30% of the students are placed from college. Others have to find there own jobs.

One of the good colleges.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
