Good College but its still Developing

Remarks :

Oyr College have bad faculties that is the only bad part of this College and we don't get full time access to lan internet only in evening from 6pm to 2:30am. And we don't have full time freedom to out campus our hostel intime is mac at 12:00 midnight. It should not have any boundations.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Well the course is same as the cource of physics, chemistry and maths of class 11th and 12th CBSE boards. But its a little bit advanced. The exam was divided in two parts Mains and advanced. Mains was furthur divided into 2 times one in January and other in april. Mains paper have 3 different sections i e. Maths physics and chemistry. Best of 2 times will be evaluated as the final result. Based on that our merit list came and all the candidates who qualified the mains appeared for JEE advance. This paper is divided into 2 parts each divided into further 3 section i. em maths physics and chemistry. Based on these two papers of advance a new ranklist came and this ranklist took us to this College.

Placement Experience :

I don't have a lot much idea about these things as i am still in 1st year but i can tell that jobs opportunity and placement are good and still increasing. Internships are pretty awsm here too. And i will get to know more about it in furthur years.

College Events :

After coming here at first we celebrated the mining department annual fest named KHANAN that was pretty good and it gave us a pretty good idea about our capus. Later we got our Technical-management fest named CONCETTO that was pretty awsm everybody enjoyed it a lit and there were a lits of events to participate and win a lots of money. Later we got our cultural event in January named Srijan. It was the most enjoyable fest of the College and everyone did enjoyed it the most. Later our sports fest is coming in march named Parakram.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

1lakh is our tuition fees for one semester and 15000 is our mess fee for one semester. Over all for a year we need to spend 2. 5lakh to the College as our fee. Its expensive for middle class people like us. Also SC/ST students don't need to pay for tuition fee and students whose parents income is less than 5lakh gets fee waiver of 66%.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Those whose family income is less than 1lakh gets 100% fee waiver, same for sc/st students. Those whose family income is less than 5lakh gets 66. 66% fee waiver and those with 5lakh+ have to pay 100% fees. We gets loan facility from SBI camus branch without a lots paper work.

Campus Life :

We have got a lots sports to do like football, athletics, swimming, karate, boxing, table tennis, badminton, cricket, basketball, etc. We also good literacy clubs and art clubs. We have got a tons of labs associated with our course. Gender ratio is less in here at most we got 20% girls here.

Hostel Facilities :

All students lives in hostel and its mandatory. Hostels are good in terms of infrastructure and services. We gets good food, electricity, internet connection and all. We also got gaesers in bathrooms. All rooms are sharing. 2 students lives in single room. Mess fee is 15000 a month.

Alumni/Alumna :

I don't know a lot about alumni but our senior students helps a lot to us. They are like big brothers. Whenever we need some help there is some senior right by our side helping us. We have got a lots of seniors to interact and we gets a lots of help from their experience.

Admission :

At first i appeared for JEE mains. After qualifying the JEE mains i appeared for JEE advance. On the basis of my JEE advance rank i filled my College preference on Joint Seat Allocation Authority (Josaa). There i got my College and branch on the basis of my rank. Later i registered my seat at the nearest IIT as soonn as i got my seat. Later on specified date i completed my registration in the respective College on designated date

Faculty :

Well faculty are not as good as we thought the College is. Most of the faculty are south Indians and have problem in communication with students other than south India. Most of the students are unable to understand what they want to teach us. As a result all the studies are done by the student itself with the study material teacher provides. Not all faculties are bad there are some pretty awsm teachers too. But overall the professors are all talk and no good.

After the completion of 3 rd years, students are eligible for placement. About 10 companies came when I was there and they don't have soo many offers. The highest package of 10 lakh waa given to our best student in computer science the average package was 5-6 lakh that's the average package of most colleges here it is the same. The placements of students were quite average about 70 % cause most of the students get diverted. I planned to go in some other field apart from engineering.
