Remarks :

This an average college with decent teaching faculty. The infrastructure of this college is extremely low. It is just a building on the top of a hill with very less plants and trees. The ambience is also below average.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Engineering in computer science and engineering. There are regular examination conducted by the college every month and the grades are assigned based on the marks on the series exam and the attandance percentage of the students.

Placement Experience :

This college doesn't provide any type of placements or job opportunities for the students. Student's have to search the jobs by themselves and have to find a decent salary by themselves. The college doesn't provide any type of intership at all.

College Events :

There will be some celebration on the newly joined students to welcome them. After that the college would be having onam celebration and Christmas celebration on the college premises. At the end of the academic year the students have to conduct the college day by themselves, the college administration will never help the students financially.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure for the college is low compared to that of other nearby colleges. But if we compare the infrastructure and other facilities availed by the college it is of low standards and they are giving a lower fees.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship facilities are given to the students if they scored 90% above in higher secondary classes or secured ranks below 1000 in the kerala state engineering entrance examination. There are loan facilities availed by the college for students who are in need of it.

Campus Life :

This college is just like a jail. There is no kind of sports or extracurricular activities in this college. No sports day no arts day and not even any kinds of fun is allowed in this college. The lab facilities are almost ok.

Alumni/Alumna :

There is nothing like an alumni network for this college, even a convocation ceremony is not given by the college to the passed out students. Once you get out of that college you won't be having any kind of connection with the college there after.

Admission :

I got admission to the college by joining the NRI quota by giving extra money to the college, because i haven't been qualified for the engineering exam conducted by the kerala state. You just need the required higher secondary certificate and administration fees for the admission.

Faculty :

The facilities of the College was good and they are always happy to help everyone with academic doubt. The lab facilities and teaching faculties are always there to help the students. The library facilities are always ready to help

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
