Remarks :

It's just a small campus compared to other colleges. Most of the students are day scholors.only a few stay in hostel. I hope in future our college's infrastructure will be improved. I would also like to contribute a part of my earnings in when i get my first job.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It is a 2 year course. And it's good. Even student's from science background has chosen this stream as more and more companies are in need of MBA graduates. The course is divided into 4 semesters. Each semester there would be an exam which is conducted /looked after by the university of calicut.

Placement Experience :

Placement are provided in our college. Not all the companies are the best. They won't select students if they have any backpapers. And no our college does not provide internship. Personally I don't depend on the placements provided my college when I pass out later. I would prefer to go in search of jobs myself and which suits me the best.

College Events :

One of the main college events celebrated at our college is the management meet which is conducted annually. All the students including the juniors are engaged to conduct the programs. It is a national level meet and few of the programs in the meet are, ;best manager, best management team, business quiz, treasure hunt etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is not that expensive comparing to the universities outside of Kerala. I would say most can afford it. In my first semester I paid indian rupee 35000. Which I think is good compared to lakhs paid for a semester in most other top colleges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are scholarships but as I belong to general category I can't avail any scholarships. Scholarships based on casts should be stopped. There are people who belong to higher cast but they are poor so I hope in future the government of India will rectify this issue.

Campus Life :

As our college is not a huge campus there's no such things as extracurricular activities. We all come just for studying and then go home. Only thing that we have is a good library which most don't make use of.

Hostel Facilities :

No daily I travel to college on 2 wheeler. Its a 1 hour journey. Approximately 70 kms every day. I can use public transportation but it would take me an extra hour so I opted to go by bike. Also we don't need to depend on anyone which is also good rit.

Alumni/Alumna :

Definitely. They are very helpful. Each year they collect an amount and buy something usefull for the college. For eg. Inverter, speaker systems, projector etc. Without them I can say our college will be in much worse condition.

Admission :

Firstly I wrote kmat (kerala management aptitude test) exam and based on the score I was called up for the interview and group discussion. After a week a list was published with the names of the selected students in which I secured a place.

Faculty :

Faculties are just average. In my college the guest facilities out number the permanent ones. Means you got to study yourselves rather than depending entirely upon them. Attendece, seminar, and 2 other factors are taken into consideration for internal marks. So students cannot take leave as and when he wishes. Anyway the faculties are friendly during the non - teaching hours.

There are 6 semesters in total and the placement drives starts in the month of November. The students should have above 4.8 CGPA out of 8 to become eligible for the placements. The current average CTC is 8.10 and as of now above 60 companies have visited our campus. The college had 100% placement in the previous year and likely to have the same in the current year. Admission:

My admission was done on the basis of entrance mode. I took the CAT exam and scored 76%. So I was eligible for the admission. Oh! I almost forgot I filled out the application form online from the official website of the Calicut University and then my application was shortlisted.

Placement Experience:

The placement provided by our college was overall good. The placement cell from my college was very active and provided a lot of placement opportunities by inviting familiar companies like HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, etc. Our college has an average percentage of 30% and above rate in placement.
