Remarks :

IIT Kanpur in itself is a mini city. We don't have to go out of the campus for anything we need. Food facilities are great. We even have a Dominos outlet inside. The open air theatre is a great place to hangout, which is open for students 24x7. Various clubs bring out the best skills in people. We have a club for any hobby a person might have.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum of IIT Kanpur is very flexible and vast. The exam structure is purely decided by the instructor in charge of the course. He may or may not take quizzes, he may also take no exams and grade on the basis of a project too. In general, there are 2 quizzes, one mid term and one end term.

Placement Experience :

Placement and job opportunities are vast. Every year, in the month of December, SPO(Student Placement Office) has a placement drive. Also Student Internship Programme helps students secure internships in companies.

College Events :

Antaragni - Cultural Festival of IIT Kanpur. 4 days of full entertainment woth events like dramatics, dance events, painting, graffiti and quiz events and many more. Techkriti - Technical festival of IIT Kanpur. Spans events like Robowars, Egg drop challenge, hackathons and much more.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible. The fee structure is quite feasible, even after the hikes that happened recently. The fee payment is also quite easy with an online portal owned by IIT Kanpur office of automation. There is also some remission for students with less economic income.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Many scholarships and loans are available. These are all managed by Senate Scholarships and Prizes Comittee(SSPC). A list of them with eligibility criteria can be found on their webpage. Also Counselling service provides help to those in need with it's Student Benevolent Fund. SBI at IIT Kanpur also has good loan options for students to opt.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities are abundant in IIT Kanpur. We have sports facilities like Squash courts(2), Badminton courts (6), Basketball courts (2), Football ground, Hockey ground, Cricket ground, Weightlifting arena, TT area (9), Billiards room, Volleyball courts(4) and much more. Apart from these, a basketball court, badminton court, Volleyball courts and TT tables are available in each hostel. There are numerous labs, with dedicated buildings for each department separately. There are some common labs which are open to use for students from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network of IIT Kanpur is one of the strongest in India. Seniors are very helpful around here. They have experience in almost everything. We have excellent bonding with them. Many seniors or alumni work on their own startup and guide students who wish to do the same.

Admission :

Admission process of IIT Kanpur is based on the performance in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced. It is purely based on the rank obtained in the exam mentioned. Online counselling is done by Joint Seat Allocation Authority based on the preferences filled by the candidates.

Faculty :

The faculty are very helpful. They acn be reached through email or can be met in their office hours they provide to the student. They also undertake students to do academic projects under them in their firld of research. Each faculty takes a particular course in his own style, putting some out of the box elements in the course.

Hbtu is value for money

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible to sit in the placements from the 7th semester there is a number of companies has come for placements in our college and in some branches are college placement is 100% like chemical mechanical oil and paint. Highest package in our college is 22 lakhs per annum in 2024. And average package of the colleges 8.4 lakh per annum. percentage placement is 82-85% of our college. I studing civil engineering so my planning after getting degree is to start own firm.

Is Galgotias University Good or bad?

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is pretty decent and it's keep improving year by year. I am seeing on my own that the placement here are improving every year. The companies visiting here are offering a pretty decent package to the students here. For me if I didn't get any placement then I would try in companies like Microsoft and Adobe as they are my dream companies and as they are, I will also prepare for them a lot. The companies that visited here are Infosys, TCS, cognizant, Amazon, microsoft, Adobe etc. The highest package here is 1.5 cr and lowest is 2-3 lakhs

SNU - A heaven for researchers

Placement Experience:

The placement here is good. But you have to grill yourself as well. Nothing comes without doing anything. So if you want a good placement you’ll have to study well for that and maintain a good GPA as well. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, McKinsey all come to our university. Highest package offered is 60 lacs while average is around 12 lacs.
