Remarks :

The negative remarks of the college is that the college doesn’t have a good infrastructure and a big campus. But, college is currently trying to improve the campus and make it more student friendly. The positive remark is that you’ll get the basic facilities from the college itself.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum and Exam structure are based on APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. University is very strict. Hardwork is necessary to cover the course. You’ll have to study hard and write your exam.

Placement Experience :

They are placement drives available in our college. But comparing to other colleges, multinationals companies rarely do placements in our college. But, our college informs the students about the available placement drives nearby.

College Events :

Lots events were celebrated in our college. For example, Freshers day, Onam celebration, Ethnic Day,Holi Celebration, Departmental celebrations, Tech Fest, Arts day, College day and other celebrations.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structures are feasible and very low compared to other private colleges. Your fees are reduced when you have marks in school or good ranks in entrance exams. They are scholarships available if you are eligible.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship available if you are eligible. If you have about 80% marks or above you could be eligible for that scholarship. This scholarship will provide you about 30,000? per year.

Campus Life :

There is an active National Service Scheme cell which is very active in social and charitable activities. There are football,cricket,basketball,volleyball teams for our college but they don’t have proper coaching facilities. There will be a sports day which is conducted every year.

Hostel Facilities :

Currently there is no college hostels available for our college. But there are lots of private hostels nearby which are good and have proper accomodation and food facilities. Private hostels are nearby to the college and there are college bus facilities for the students who opt for hostels.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior students were much friendly and will stand by every student whenever need. Every students have very much unity among them. That is one of the best qualities of the college. There is also an alumni association for the college.

Admission :

I got admission by getting a allotted in KEAM, college staff reviewed my school marks and i was eligible to join. They did the procedures and i got my admission on the same day. After getting admission they asked me to come to the orientation for freshers.

Faculty :

Faculty is good and well-experienced. They’ll try to help you study throughout the course. Faculties explain the classes really well and you’ll be satisfied with the teaching methods which is more student friendly.

Placement Experience:

there are placements in every years but not every one gets it. because every one has less skills rather than coomparing their marks.becuase of their lacking of skills they have ended up being placed undeer companies which offer less salary.but some got good options also.and my collge is in a rural ares so not so many companies gets here

Yeah they do have placement here and they prefer their students more which is good and most of the time they give placement as teaching assistants. Sometimes only in the plant but mostly it's for TA and especially if you are doing your masters here it is so good

Pros and cons of NIT CALICUT

Placement Experience:

Qualcomm, ibs,Infosys etc visits. Highest package was 55 lakhs. Average package is 20 lakhs. Nearly 100 % placement in computer science engineering. After degree joining get a job through campus placement.

Good government University with better placement opportunities, infrastructure and good educational environment. Fee Structure is feasible and the university is stands apart.
