Remarks :

No campus life like other goverment college the faculty wont encourage the students for extra caricular activities. We have three teams whi conduct in BAJA racing. They make off road cars designed by the students and go to competion. The managemet has no intrest and they dont support.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college is based on Kerala Technical University. The newly formed university 'APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University'. The carriculum is so old. The new systematic learining is not practiced. The syllabus is also too old.

Placement Experience :

Placements are there in our college. INFOSIS is the main company hiring students from our college. TCS, Quest Global are the other companies coming here. TATA 's elctronics company also came. Last year 60 students go placement. Out of that 40 were placed at infosis.

College Events :

The main event of our college is techo cultural fest Aaroh. AaRoh 19 was conducted with a budget of 15 lakh. I was the cultural head of the fest. It is a event ehich forecast technical skill and also cultural things. All the students across the south india attended the fest. Then inter house sports called Fortius is organised, all the students are divided into four houses and we conduct sports and games including athletics. Arts day is also celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible, for the merit seat 35000 and for management seat 65000. And for NRI seat 1 lakh rupees. The NRI seat admisssion is done by the college management but other two merit and management seats are filled through entrance list.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship facility offered my state goverment and central goverment is given here. Our instituion is runned by IHRD. The IHRD some scholarship. Most of the students applying for the scholarship whom the criteria matches recieves the schloarship.

Campus Life :

We have good lab for all the departments. Sports we dont have a good ground. The students are so worried about that. The sports has much support from the management. The students go to university zone competition by their own risk.

Hostel Facilities :

We dont have college hostel.Only first year boys students have hostel facilities. Girls hostel is also private one. The college is not running any hostel. Most of the students are staying as paying guest.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

No, alumini network present currently, as the college is now going for accreditation they are building up one now. The network of alumini relay on ehatsapp groups. Our college has good alumini strength in uae, they have a football team on our college name.

Admission :

I got my admission by writing entrancce admission conducted my goverment of kerala. I opted for electronics and communication in my option list. I got the selection and went to college. Top ranks in my college where for mechanical engineering. Computer science andelectrical and elctronics other branches in our college. Mechanical have 120 seats and all other have 60 seat.

Faculty :

The faculty is not student friendly. They are not working for students but working for the their salary. They are acting like a teacher with no love towards students.that is the main drawback of our college.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

Placement Experience:

Third year and fourth-year students are eligible for placements. Companies like Qburst, TCS, Byjus, and Applexus have visited and offered placements for the students. The average package is 6LPA. I plan to be placed at any one of the companies with a good package and prepare for the gate exam.
