Remarks :

Best Management Institute in Kerala. Studnets who get admission here are one if the lucky few. Faculties are the best and helpful and friendly. Hostels are clean. Fees are affordable. Even reaching is also easy.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Exam consists of both internal and external. Internal consists of attendance, class participation and exam performance. Externals consists of a university exam conducted centrally by the University with marks in 50.

Placement Experience :

School of management studies CUSAT provides both placement and internship assistance. Specially alumni association known as SMS 80 provides training and placement assistance. Usually top companies around India visit CUSAT campus first for placements. There are paid and unpaid internships

College Events :

Since it's a university events are not few. Major one is management fest conducted every year. It's a etudnets run management fest. Also there are number of arts programs , sports program, cultural programs etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees is generally less expensive compared to other universities and instituitions in Kerala. It comes around 1.5 lakhs for the course . Even the hostel and mess fee is also manageable. Even plenty or scholarships are available for the students

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Merit cum means scholarship and Egrants offered are few scholarship available in Cochin University of Science and Technology. Scholarships and fees reduction are available for obc and SC/ST students.

Campus Life :

Since it's a university lab, sports , culturals, arts etc are of plenty and one of the best. Students are provided with plenty of opportunities in whichever filed they wants. There are plenty of spacious grounds and auditoriums for students.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel in Cochin University of Science and Technology is one of the best. It can be compared to the IIMs in India. Fees is very cheap and mess is run by students which again leads to cheaper fees. Cleanliness is one of the plus points.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

SMS 80 foundation is one of the best alumni network in Kerala. They provide assistance for students in terms of scholarship, placement and internship assistance. They even guide students with necessary programs to attend memberships to be taken and even provide with placement training.

Admission :

Clear CAT/CMAT/ KMAT entrance exams which will shortlist you for interview and Group Discussion process. Clearing that will qualify you for admissions. Pay admission fees and attend counselling session.

Faculty :

Faculty in school of management studies CUSAT is one of the best in Kerala. They are helpful both in academia as well as our mental upbringing. They are a rich blend of both academics and industry.majority of them hold a doctorate.

SMS CUSAT

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester, students are eligible for campus placements. The companies include federal bank ICICI Bank, Turn B, DHL, Reliance, Kellogg's, and Kimji Ramdas. The highest package was done by Kimji Ramdas for around 21 lakhs per annum. Around 90% of students are placed. My plan is to get placed after the completion of the course.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, students become eligible for placements ie; at the beginning of second year itself . Students are eligible with a CGPA of 7 for most of the companies visiting Amrita School of Business, Kochi. Most of the banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI BANK etc comes for placement. Also PWC, Deloitte, BNY Mellon etc comes for placement. Many marketing companies like World of Stones, Exide batteries etc will come for placements. Good companies are more coming for placements. Avg package is 6 lakhs and highest is 14 lakhs. Placement Experience:

There are 6 semesters in total and the placement drives starts in the month of November. The students should have above 4.8 CGPA out of 8 to become eligible for the placements. The current average CTC is 8.10 and as of now above 60 companies have visited our campus. The college had 100% placement in the previous year and likely to have the same in the current year. Admission:

My admission was done on the basis of entrance mode. I took the CAT exam and scored 76%. So I was eligible for the admission. Oh! I almost forgot I filled out the application form online from the official website of the Calicut University and then my application was shortlisted.

Placement Experience:

The placement provided by our college was overall good. The placement cell from my college was very active and provided a lot of placement opportunities by inviting familiar companies like HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, etc. Our college has an average percentage of 30% and above rate in placement.
