Remarks :

The transportation into the college is little bit difficult but the number of college bus helps to catch you in any nearest cities around the college. WiFi is available in the college campus for helps the students to study in online.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The all seven semester contain six paper including labs and mini project but in eighth semester contains four paper and one main project. Examination process is so simple, The university will officially announce the date and time of examination, we can register through site and pay the fees in college, The hall ticket is collected from the college before half an hour of exam.

Placement Experience :

Yes.The college have a placement cell with lots of companies registered like Royal Enfield, Indus motors,wipro,etc. The recruitment process is , when a company requires employees the are contact the placement cell and the interview is held in the campus. Yes the college provides internship in different companies regarding their branch of study, In my experience the internship gives me more practical knowledge with stipend of 4k.

College Events :

Trams tech fest, the motor show with engine anatomy and lot of games. Tech talk, the Various colleges are participated in the event to talk about the different topics of Engineering and they are gifted with prizes and interships.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees structure is feasible, Around 20000/- per semester in management quota and government fee structure is varies with entrance exam rank. NRI seats are also available with little bit increased fees structure than management quota.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are lot of scholarships available, The loan facility is available in nearest banks and Punjab national Bank is located near to the college which gives you all the required details about loan and you can also apply loan there.

Campus Life :

Excellent lab facilities are available. The college have teams for cricket, football, volleyball, kabadi, badminton. The teams gets regular practice session and friendly matches addition to the e zone tournaments.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostal is located very near to the college and the transportation is negligible. The food is available in college canteen with two non-veg meals in week. The hostal is very eco friendly and washroom facilities are superb.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network is very helpful because the regular visits of well settled alumnies are shared their experiences that really helps the students to mold their future. The alumni network also contains lots of programs in and out the college.

Admission :

• Entrance exam attempted, • But can't maintain the min mark, • So I choose management quota, • Spot registered in college by paying college and university fees for first semester, • university register number is announced in the official page of university.

Faculty :

All the department contains well teachers with leading of a well experienced head of department. The strategy is completing the all the modules of each subject before examination and revise the topic for the examination.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
