Really great

Remarks :

Positive : good choice infrastructure, good labs, nice facilities for sports, nice. Negative : bad faculty, not so good university, not so good management, hostel infrastructure for seniors but overall speaking good compared to other colleges from what I heard from my friends.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course carriculum is good to average in level. I took computer science but even in this second year I'm having only a single subject concerned with my core. Exam structure consists of 2series or internal exams which you need to score a minimum 40% in total to be eligible to write the university exam which takes place at the end of each semester.

Placement Experience :

Placements and job opportunities are really good here. From what the seniors have said there is good placement here with good number of top tier companies coming to recruit. The college does not provide any stiphent of any sorts.

College Events :

The college has very low number of programs and events happening. There is a techfest called abhiyanthriki taking place once every two years. Its the best one in the college and when compared with the fests of other colleges it's simply waste.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is expensive actually with a lakh for a year in college and another one lakh for the hostel. They also take large sums of money during each and every programs happening in the college and and in the names of many clubs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No good scholarships or loan facilities are available. There is one but that is only provided for students who come too in the merit list during admission but these students won't be joining this college as they have better options.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities here are good actually there's place for all kind of sports and stuff anything you list it's all there. Labs are all good although the computer labs does not have good and powerful systems.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel infrastructure for the first is really really good like it's living in a good hotel. But from second year onwards the hostel infrastructure and facilitate really poor like you get very poor sanitary facilities very poorly cleaned and not maintained.

Alumni/Alumna :

The college functions in a way that the students are not able to communicate with the seniors or alumini students of the college. They are against the intermingling of students of each years. There is no ragging which is a positive though only to a very small number of students.

Admission :

Admission process was based on a merit list made by combining entrance marks and 12th marks. Time was alloted to students based on their ranks in the merit list. Then they conduct a small interview and also a talk with the head of the department concerned.

Faculty :

Not that good but nice. Some are really good like a small number of them. But many of them are really bad in making the students understand the concepts but are always keen to make the students work and write many assignments and make the students take the lectures.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements starts generally from the seventh semester in the fourth year. Nehru institutions have a lot of hold with multinational companies so a lot of companies like TCS, BPL, Amazon are offering placements to students who have no back papers. The highest package offered by companies is 9lakhs per year and the average salary is 4000/month. Mainly placements are offered to computer science engineering students comparatively.

Placement Experience:

The only student from the 4th year was eligible for campus placements. Every year nearly 88% of students got placed. Our batch was also not an exception. Most jobs were taken up by cse stream followed by our stream. Companies visited included Infosys, Cognizant Technology Solutions,ITC Infotech, Odessa Technologies, and others. The highest package of 5 lakhs was offered by Infosys.Cts offered 4 lakhs highest. The average package offered to all was 3 lakhs per annum.ITC offered 3.6 lakhs per annum. My plan after getting a degree was to join the job of CTS. Then I had dreams of an MBA in the future if possible since it would attract higher packages in the future. Many friends of mine got double offers. There were offers from. Sonodyne, Vodafone also. Since I got a job already,I didn't seat for Vodafone. Vodafone also offered a handsome package of 4 lakhs per annum.ZTE operations also took few students from our college
