Beautiful learning and coding environment: IIIT Allahabad is known for its coding culture. It has featured twice in ACM ICPC World’s Finals and also bagged the first rank from India in World’s Finals.
Good placement opportunities: It has good placement opportunities for the average students as well. You get enough opportunities till the end of the post-graduation. Most of the people are highly placed in reputed companies like IBM ISL Bangalore, Amazon Bangalore, Samsung R&D Bangalore and Noida, Dolcera Hyderabad, Snapdeal Delhi, Verizon Hyderabad, and some ML startup companies. Students also prefer to join academia for their PhDs in IITs or abroad.
Off-campus opportunities: The students have a lot of off-campus opportunities, thanks to its alumni strength and brand value. People get to top companies 1-2 years later after doing jobs initially in start-ups and smaller firms.

However, you should choose according to your branch and interest, if getting a placement is not the only concern for you after your graduation degree. You can also prefer an integrated MTech + Ph.D. course if you want to pursue research from IIIT- Allahabad in the same field.
