The placements for the BIT Mesra Main Campus BE program are particularly good for the core branches and circuital branches. The CSE and IT placements record the best placements while in other branches the scenario is average.

BIT Mesra placement drives are conducted by its active placement cell. In 2022, students received 1257 placement offers. The highest salary was recorded at INR 58.33 LPA while the average salary was INR 13.01 LPA. A total of 235 companies visited the campus.

The placement scenario of BIT Mesra is pretty good, considering the highest and average placement packages respectively. The table below gives a brief overview of the placement in BIT Mesra.

Key Highlights:

The CS & IT branches lead in the highest CTC offered. Companies like Microsoft (39 LPA), Salesforce (30 LPA), Goldman Sachs (22 LPA), etc provide high salary packages and are generally limited to circuital branches only.
The high fees of BIT are usually considered as an assurance of getting placement, but what matters most is the candidate's skills and preparation.

Overall, it is considered that BIT Mesra has an upper edge in B.Tech placements (mostly CS & IT), though Integrated M.Sc students get decent offers too.
