What are the differences between IMT Ghaziabad and IIM Kashipur (KIMS)? Which one has a higher placement and salary package as well as fees structure per semester?

IMT Ghaziabad and IIM Kashipur are among the top Indian B-schools, however, their programs, job possibilities, and fees differ.

IMT Ghaziabad provides two-year full-time MBA, PGDM Executive, and PGDM Dual Country programs. IIM Kashipur provides a two-year full-time MBA, Business Analytics and an FPM doctorate program.

Both institutes IMT Ghaziabad and IIM Kashipur have strong placement records. IIM Kashipur is newer than IMT Ghaziabad. 

Following are the placements and fee structure highlights for both B-schools:

• For 2023, IMT Ghaziabad's average package increased by 13.4% to INR 17.35 LPA whereas IMT Ghaziabad's highest package stood at INR 65.5 LPA. Students received 75 pre-placement offers.
• The highest number of offers came from the BFSI sector (31.9%) followed by the IT/ITES sector (18.4%). A total of 150 recruiters participated in IMT Ghaziabad Placements 2023. Some of the top recruiters included Deloitte, Infosys, HSBC, HDFC Bank, Accenture, Cognizant, etc.
• While IIM Kashipur's average package increased by 19% at INR 18.11 LPA whereas IIM Kashipur's highest package increased by 28% at INR 37 LPA.
• The median package also increased by 16% at INR 17.2 LPA. Recruiters like HashiCorp, EXL Analytics, Royal Bank of Scotland, Nomura, MTR Group, etc participated in IIM Kashipur Placements 2023.

IMT Ghaziabad charges more than IIM Kashipur. IMT Ghaziabad charges INR 19 lakhs for its MBA program, whereas IIM Kashipur charges INR 18 lakhs. Both institutions give qualified students grants and financial help.
