I have a few friends from IIT Ropar and here are the reasons why they choose IIT Ropar.

First and foremost, as an IIT, it is a premier institute in our country.
As a second-generation IIT, its infrastructure is very advanced, with cutting-edge equipment and facilities.
Only a one-hour drive from Chandigarh (Independent India's first planned city).
The college is surrounded by scenic beauty, and its design is influenced by the Indus Valley civilization.
Its Director and Faculty are extremely committed. Their efforts have resulted in this institute being ranked as one of the top institutions in our country. It will be an equally good and sought-after college in the coming years.
It also has a good placement record. In 2020 the average CTC offered was 15 LPA.
Mess food is good.
Because there are fewer students than other IITs, you have a better chance of participating in every club activity, sport, and event.
